This hotel is perfectly situated in Bruges. A short walk to sites, adventures and restaurants. It is lovely and charming. Our room was just right, queen size bed, small desk and two comfy chairs for relaxing at the end of the day. A large closet and spacious bathroom were top notch. We were not able to book a canal view room but our room did have a narrow window that faced the canal from a bit farther back. The staff were kind and so helpful. The entrance to the hotel is down a little side walkway that has a nice spot for selfies with the Rosary Quay. We had the hotel breakfast twice during our stay and it was delicious. Don’t miss the waffles!

Hotel's Favorite
Bruges is the most classy charming little city ever, and this is the most classy charming little hotel ever. The hotel is situated at the most special spot in Bruges, and the rooms and atmosphere are... sublime. The marble in the bathrooms alone is worth a soliloquy. The charming glamor of the rooms and stunning location and great staff make for a wonderful stay. And the breakfast is stellar. High-quality food in an elegant and gorgeous canal-side room. There is also art. And it's all original. No signed prints, only works directly from the hands of these masters: Botero, Appel, Klimt, Matisse, Chagall, more. A magical hotel in a magical town. Let me put it this way: I bought a magnet of Bruges for my refrigerator and the hotel is on the magnet!

This hotel is ideally situated within the city of Bruges, parking close by (10 mins) boats, the main square and the main shopping area (if that's your thing) are all 5 mins away. The hotel is a beautiful little oasis from the hustle and bustle and the decor is gorgeous. What really makes this hotel so unique is the staff, They are so attentive without being annoying, they preempted our needs before having to ask. They were just incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

What a charming hotel just a block away from the historic main square in Bruges! Our room was lovely and the people who work there are so nice. I highly recommend this place. I would definitely recommend requesting a room that overlooks the canal as ours did. Perhaps they all do, I don't know. It is a wonderful place to stay.

This was one of our favorite hotels ever. It is beautifully decorated, historic, in a magnificent building and location overlooking the water in the Old Town. Parking was an easy 5-mintue walk away. We stayed in deluxe and a standard room and both were wonderful. The breakfasts were outstanding, and so was the service.

I cannot speak highly enough of this amazing hotel. The location is stunning, the hotel itself exquisite.. but what sets this place apart is the staff. I only intended to visit Bruges the once but after I stayed here in 2018 I now return to Bruges a couple of times a year just to enjoy this beautiful experience. The staff are the best I’ve ever met, anywhere at anytime. You can tell from the first greeting that you enjoying your stay is at the heart of what matters to them! Febrina is an absolute star and it was great to see Maroof and Isabel again. New staff members were also very helpful. There’s customer service then there’s above and beyond. The latter is what you get staying here. I truly feel it is a honour and a privilege to be a guest at Relais Bourgondische Cruyce. Working in a challenging and demanding job means that trips away make such a huge difference. Work life balance is incredibly important and my trips here always leave me feeling restored. As a Clinical Psychologist I often speak about the need to hold onto the important moments amidst the chaos and stress of life and some of my special and treasured moments have been here! I cannot wait to return, again and again! Thank you to all for a perfect stay

The hotel is magical and in the perfect location. Definitely get the canal view room and breakfast! The room itself was small and cozy, while the all-marble bathroom felt luxurious. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Room 15 was a delight in this small boutique hotel in the heart of Brugge. The room’s appointments, from the lush linens. to the red marble shower, the toiletries, the wallpaper, the ancient wide-plank wooden floor, all was exquisite. And the staff could not have been more helpful. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Very nice hotel, great service, breathtaking view over canals (room nr 20). All the tourists from the boats check out and admire the hotel where we are staying - feels good :) We will definitely come back!

Lovely stay. My family and I generally opt for larger hotels with more space to spread out, but in this case, we're delighted to have selected a boutique option. Everything from the entrance to the lounge to the rooms were quaint and historical, perfect for our two night stay! We were traveling with friends and had a total of four rooms - classic and superior canal view. Do opt for a canal view if possible - it's very atmospheric to watch the boat traffic. Although the rooms were definitely small, we couldn't have been happier. The front desk staff is helpful as can be, and the morning breakfast was absolutely worth the cost. The food was great, the restaurant is charming, and the service was fast and friendly.
