A very nice boutique hotel in the center of Bruges. Close to the free shuttle stops as well as bus lines. Very convenient to walk to all of the museums and many restaurants close by as well. Breakfast was lovely albeit a bit expensive. Initially we planned to only eat one breakfast at the hotel due to cost, but the lovely dining room with a fire overlooking the canals coupled with a great food selection led us to return all three mornings. The Belgian Waffles served at breakfast were wonderful!

Hotel's Favorite
I cannot speak highly enough of this amazing hotel. The location is stunning, the hotel itself exquisite.. but what sets this place apart is the staff. I only intended to visit Bruges the once but after I stayed here in 2018 I now return to Bruges a couple of times a year just to enjoy this beautiful experience. The staff are the best I’ve ever met, anywhere at anytime. You can tell from the first greeting that you enjoying your stay is at the heart of what matters to them! Febrina is an absolute star and it was great to see Maroof and Isabel again. New staff members were also very helpful. There’s customer service then there’s above and beyond. The latter is what you get staying here. I truly feel it is a honour and a privilege to be a guest at Relais Bourgondische Cruyce. Working in a challenging and demanding job means that trips away make such a huge difference. Work life balance is incredibly important and my trips here always leave me feeling restored. As a Clinical Psychologist I often speak about the need to hold onto the important moments amidst the chaos and stress of life and some of my special and treasured moments have been here! I cannot wait to return, again and again! Thank you to all for a perfect stay

This is a beautiful old building in the center of things. That can be good or bad, depending on how much the crowds of Bruges affect you. During the day, the city is vastly overcrowded with tour groups. The room was nice and relatively spacious. The only drawback from the location is that our room got quite a bit of noise from an adjoining restaurant in the afternoon. It was, fortunately, perfectly quiet at night. The staff is helpful and friendly.

I feel bad writing such a bad review because the staff was amazing and really nice, but I definitely wouldn't stay here again. The rooms felt a bit outdated, wish there were outlets near the bed, but my biggest issue was about the cleanliness of the room and how it was outdated. There were spiderwebs in the shower, hair in the bed, the carpet was pretty dirty, and there was even a urine smell from one corner of the room. I should have said something but I wasn't staying long and I already unpacked and didn't want to go through the trouble so I just stayed away from that corner but there was definitely a smell in my room.

The hotel was lovely and the staff were so friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast was tasty with some gorgeous waffles. The beds were very comfortable and rooms immaculately clean. Most attractions were within walking distance and we found Bruges to be an excellent place for a trip.

What a wonderful oasis in the heart of beautiful Bruge. Impeccable service and old world charm. A handsome size room with very modern luxurious bathroom. We loved every minute of our stay and it was very hard to leave. Break fast was plentiful, fresh and very tasty.

Booked this famous old hotel for our honeymoon to Bruges. Was very excited as have watch the film in Bruge and was aware of the views from the hotel. Our room did not disappoint we overlooked the most beautiful view of the canal which is the one you see on all the pictures of bruge. The hotel is on of the oldest in the city and it resonates quality and class. The hotel is very old and the interior design is in keeping which makes the hotel cosy and quirky but high quality. Our room was perfect (perhaps a chest of draws for some clothes might have improved it) bed was massive and comfortable. Fresh and free coffee and tea delivered whenever you call reception was much better than making your own. The staff on reception are excellent friendly and smiley, extremely welcoming. Couldn’t be happier with this choice of hotel for our honeymoon a memory to cherish. We hope to come back to celebrate an anniversary in the future. Thank you to everyone at the hotel

We stayed here for our honeymoon for 4 nights , staying on the top floor with canal view. From the moment of checking in you feel welcomed , the front desk always has a staff member on who opens and closes the front door so non residents can’t just walk around this famous gem of a hotel. Our room was cosy and comfortable. The bed was huge with superb quality linen . Black out curtains aided a great nights sleep . The view from our room was picturesque overlooking the canal and restaurants. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room , you had to call to reception and they would bring a fresh drink up within seconds. Much nicer than having a machine in your room. A few small negatives , these wouldn’t stop us staying again. The bath was a corner shape with shower over which was awkward to use. Very little hanging space and no drawers to put clothes in . TV was temperamental . An amazing hotel in an amazing city , well worth a stay and visit to Bruges

Beautiful boutique hotel close to everything you wanted to see . Staff were excellent- very helpful. We thought the breakfast in the hotel was too expensive but compared to what else was available it was worth it- their waffles were the best I’ve ever tasted. Would recommend it to everyone!

I would highly recommend staying here. The hotel is superb. It is clean, comfortable and is in a perfect central location for walking around Bruges. The staff are very friendly, extremely attentive and helpful, nothing appeared to be too much trouble for them. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice. We stayed in the bedroom used in the film In Bruges which made our stay feel even more special.
