This place is a disgrace. And we spend the worst night and encounter I have ever experienced here. They had construction all night starting at around midnight till 5am right outside our window and no one from the hotel was present at night, that we could‘ve changed our room, so we were not able to sleep at all. In the morning when checking out we complained about this and this one bold server/ hotel worker got super angry at us, told us to get out and then processed to swear at us and said ‚f*** you‘ to me as we were leaving. I was literally crying by the end of it because this was such a bad experience with this person. He should not be speaking to anyone like this let alone customers of the hotel, so if I could I would have given zero stars in this review.

Beautiful location. Reasonably priced. Clean, modern room with a wonderful view of the Christmas markets on the square. Food is fantastic. Staff are friendly and helpful. This hotel deserves more than a 2 star!! I will defiantly consider coming back to hotel central. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants surround the hotel. Yes it is noisy at night, but that’s to be expected when your staying in a main square! Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful 2 night stay in this beautiful city. Thankyou very much hotel central! ❤️

This is a fantastic location. After that, you decide. We were greeted with the news that the breakfasts that Booking.com said were paid for, were not. At 10 bucks/Euros a head that was a downer. So who messed up? So, we slept in and came down for a coffee @ 4 bucks a small-euro cup. We asked for a bun or a piece of bread (what could that cost?) and the guy acted like we broke the law. No problem. Then we went back up stairs and then out and returned, all within 30 minutes. Someone followed us upstairs to make sure we weren't street people. Maybe that's why they seemed rude when we ordered. We might have just been there at a bad time. The place looks old and tired and the staff serious and grumpy. Other places are sprucing up for Christmas, but not Central. In comparison, very few people ate at the restaurant in the evenings on a packed weekend. It had the feeling of a business in decline. But if that was our experience. One huge plus is that it is a great location. And I'd suggest booking with someone other than booking.com.

This feels a little weird as it is right above a restaurant on the square, but the setting is spectacular. We had a wonderful view with windows in a gabled housefront the opened up right on the square with a view of the Belfry. The room is quite small, but clean and comfortable. You must walk up a very steep flight of stairs (we were on the first floor above the bar). The square got a bit noisy on the weekend night--consider bringing earplugs. The view is worth putting up with the noise of being right on the square. And of course, the location is ideal for walking around the old town. We took a cab back and forth from the train station--only 7 Euros (too far to walk with bags). The included breakfast was fantastic--even eggs as well as a delicious spread buffet.

This hotel is located in the centre of bruges, it is amazing! The room we stayed in was great, very basic but has recently been refurbished so was very clean and has everything we needed, the shower was great! The only downside was the weekend we were there it was very hot and they didn't have air-con or even a fan which was the only thing that let us down about the hotel all weekend. The breakfast was more that sufficient for the price we paid and the hotel chocolate was wonderful. The service from all staff was outstanding, they were all very friendly and helpful. We didn't eat here but had many drinks looking out on the square. I would defiantly recommend this hotel!
