Been to Bruges many times. (lived in Belgium 1978-1990). Had a memorable lunch at this accessible and we'll place restaurant in beautiful Bruges in late November meeting a friend we've known for almost 40 years and hadn't seen for 5 years. Chose Duc de Bourgogne purposely because of its history location and menu which provides wonderful cuisine whatever one's tastes...

A traditional style property in need of some TLC, some rooms quite dated and others have been refurbished. On the whole however this is a very comfortable establishment with a good breakfast. The location is spot on for the MAKT and other main attractions. The staff very friendly and car parking in the municipal is but a few hundred yards...

Lovely old hotel in centre of Brugge. It could do with some updating in areas but some of the rooms have been upgraded. Nonetheless the hotel is very cosy and homely. Small but adequate breakfast and friendly staff makes for a comfortable stay. Great location for exploring the city and close to car park.

This hotel was lovely, the staff very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was wonderful. We ate dinner in their restaurant and it was fabulous. The location was very convenient. It is just blocks from many major attractions. It is right on the canal. Would highly recommend. And the price was very reasonable.

This was our second trip to le Duc de Bourgogne having stayed earlier in the year. This time, we booked a delux room which was significantly nicer than the standard room that we booked previously. We booked a triple room which was comfortably large enough for 3 adult sized people (Mum, Dad and tall teenager!). The room was thoughtfully decorated...

It is in a wonderful spot to tour around Bruges-close to lots of interesting things. The rooms were large and we had great views of the canal. I watched the swans from my bedroom. It is a very old hotel so you can hear noise from rooms when your in the hall etc. but nothing to worry about. The staff...

The first impressions are of a wonderfully old building with tapestries and carved wood and lovely grandfather clocks on the landings, our room was a little tired in terms of decor, but the bed was comfortable and the facilities were OK. What makes this hotel special, other than its location just outside the Berg Square and around the corner from...

My wife and I spent two nights at the hotel. Excellent location in the heart of the downtown canal area of Bruges. Close to most of the major tourist attractions. This is a classic old hotel, not a new modern hotel. Our room overlooked the courtyard not the canal. There is a underground parking garage nearby Service was excellent. There...

Went to Bruges for the first time and stayed in this hotel which has a lovely view into the canal from the bedroom. Service is good, very nice staff. However for the price I find the rooms are little bit dated. The breakfast was nice and the sitting is perfect for the view.
