Excellent hotel, away from the town centre so very quiet but close enough that a short walk to the market square. Bennie greeted us on arrival and took great trouble to provide us with map and routes to the most visited attractions and his own...More
Read the reviews. They are true. Simply excellent and even better when you consider the cost. Paul and his fellow workers could not do more. Brilliant. Free everything even down to umbrellas. You must try the little restaurant at the rear of the hotel. Paul...More
We enjoyed our one night stay here and echo the reviews already written.
We arrived at about 11 am--and our rooms were ready. We had two rooms--both very small, but spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. Bruges is such a lovely city, there is no reason...More

Thank you very much for your kind review!
just to inform other guests that we have an off street private parking close to the hotel
if you stay a few days.
Cost is 8 euros/24h for midweek and 10 euros/24h for weekend stays.
The hotel is an easy bus ride from the train station and Paul, the owner gives good directions, however we walked. The sidewalks are cobbled so it's not easy with luggage as you are going some distance. The hotel is on a quiet street just...More
My wife and I stayed in this hotel for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The proprietors are very efficient, courteous, and helpful. The room was small but not a problem. Very well presented and clean, and nice view over the neighbours' backyards....More

We are close to the north sea and benefit from a mild maritime climate. Because of our quiet location you can sleep with the windows open (they have mosquito screens). The few hotels that do offer it do this because their location is not so quiet or because the luxury character requires it. On the occasional warmer days our ventilation system keeps it cool in combination with blinds to block the sun and fan's in the room.

From Brugge train station you take BUS 4 or bus 14 until the 3rd stop after the old Market Square, named 'Gouden Handstraat'(once you drive with the canal on you right ring the bell as soon as it has passed the curve to the left. The next stop is just passed the next bridge. Continue walking along the canal and take 1st street on your left 'St Gilliskoorstraat'. At St Gillis church go right. The hotel is on your left. It takes 10-15min in total to get to the hotel.

Hi. The hotel is straightforward to find. Just keep the canal on your left before turning right into the very narrow road towards the church, the right again at the end. The hotel will be on your left. Thanks, Richard
