We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and enjoyed it very much. However initially it was quite difficult to find - the one way systems around Bruges can be hard to follow. The hotel was great, although the owner did disappear each night at 6pm. As we had no problems there, this didn't matter to us. There was ample...

We stayed at this quiet hotel twice. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the train station. There is a private off stree parking in a wonderful garden in front of the hotel. The hotel is located next to the Minnewater castle . If you are driving , you need a good map. The first time, we needed to ask...

I wouldn't normally look this far down the list on TripAdvisor but I'm glad we did this time! You cannot fault the location of Hotel Egmond. It's in a lovely part of town & just inside a park, so all the rooms at the front look out onto their lovely garden and trees beyond. First impressions were excellent, the main...

The Hotel Egmond, nearly a bed and breakfast in its intimacy, is an excellent place to stay while visiting the grand old city of Bruges. The hotel is nicely located, just close enough to the sites of the city but not so close as to be drawn into the hubbub of the heavy flow of tourists. The Egmond's food was...

The hotel building is really nice, and the decor inside is lovely. The breakfast we were served was tasty. I'd describe this as more of a B&B than a hotel, though. There appeared to be only one person running it, and he disappeared after 6pm when several guests needed him to help. He left a mobile phone number but when...

Hotel Egmond is an 18th century English Manor, right beside the beautiful Minnewater Park. While not right down town, Bruges, it is a short walk from the train station. It only takes 10-15 minutes to walk downtown, and the quiet of the park and the beauty of the inn are magic. The owner has worked hard to create the charm...

We booked this place after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. In fact the location is great, inside a beautiful park. We were very welcomed by the guy that was working at the reception and he provided us with a city map, information about restaurants and he also insisted to help us to carry our luggage from the car to the bedroom....

I'm a sucker for historic houses, and this was no disappointment. As soon as you step in, you feel the history in the walls. It's a perfect place to stay and really feels like you're in Brugge, which is like nowhere else. The staff was friendly and welcoming, including the two adorable dogs who stay at the hotel while their...

Breakfast was good, room was beautiful and huge (room #5), with view over lush garden that backs onto Minnewater Park. Nice walk into Markt at centre of Bruges. Greeted by receptionist's lovely two spaniels, that was a bonus. Recommend this hotel wholeheartedly!

Quiet historic house that has its own private gardens a few blocks walk from the main town. Our room, the garden room on 1st floor, was huge! Beautiful woodwork, fireplace with blue and white tiles, sitting area , huge windows, very very modern bathroom. It is on Minnewater Park and you can walk to the train station. The private garden...
