The hotel lobby and bar have recently been renovated and look fantastic, as have the bathrooms in the rooms. The carpets and furnishings in the room are quite grubby and old however the bed is very comfortable and we are enjoying our stay.

Pretty much perfect location, excellent standard and friendly staff. Rooms are comfortable and just what you need for a tourist stay. (We had a basic/comfort room) . Very good breakfast, self service, plenty of choice. Even a good car park.

This small hotel is comfortable and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. Good value for staying in Bruges for a night or two. Guests are able to leave bags before and after check-in to allow for touring.

Very beautiful property with a touch of luxury added to your stay. The room was very spacious & clean. Bed was very comfortable, room also had a desk & chair & a small seating area to enjoy your coffee near the window. The bathroom was big with a bathtub & they had provided toiletries from Rituals brand (I loved it). They don't provide bathroom sleepers (so carry a pair if you need one). The corridors are slightly dark & can use some re-decoration. The room had a kettle & a good selection of tea. The hotel had an elevator which was so convenient. I was on a solo trip & stayed here. It's on a prime location & the neighborhood was absolutely safe, I had roamed around until 11PM on my own. The hotel has a bar on the property. The location is the best part, it's 2 minutes walking from the market square & all the main attractions. Also, the Bruge Train station is only 15-20 mins walk. I walked to the hotel with my luggage and & had no problems & also on my way back to station.

Great location, so easy to pop back for a quick comfort break while sight seeing. It is very close to market square and numerous restaurants etc. 20 min walk from train station, I’d advise walking via Koning Albert park if you have wheelie luggage as it doesn’t have cobbles. Hotel reception staff were normally quite friendly, just one seemed unable to smile and I always wondered if he liked his job! We normally went to Juliette’s for breakfast, as we don’t like a large hotel breakfast and they had good prices and a nice atmosphere. Rooms could do with a lick of paint, and we should have paid attention to the red marks on walls as we did get mosquito bites. Another couple we were with didn’t as they kept their window shut, but we struggle without fresh air. Do bring your own hairdryer if you can’t stand drying your hair overnight, the one in the room was terrible even by normal hotel hair dryer standards! I gave up after 10 mins. Walls were quite thin, but that’s not uncommon in hotels. Overall decent hotel with superb location.

Room Tip: Decent prices in downstairs hotel bar, if you want a quick beer before meeting others etc.

We've been staying at the Acacia for years and have always had a positive experience! The location is ideal as it is very close to the square and walking distance to almost all of the key sites in Brugge as well as the train station. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is very good. The staff is pleasant and helpful ... highly recommended!

Very welcome in staff. Great location in a quiet street just a little stroll off the popular Markt. Plenty of restaurants very near by. Secure hotel parking pre-bookable at an extortionate 19 Euro a night, but even the public car parks can be 14 Euro for 24 hours. Nice big room. Comfortable bed. Bathroom needed a bit of a scrub in the corners, Wi-Fi dreadful. Has a lift, also an option to NOT have the room “cleaned” every day which is great when you’re in and out all day.

Not only is the location fantastic but there is also on site parking - a rarity for hotels in the historical centre of any town. Lovely rooms, good breakfast and friendly helpful staff. We travelled as 6 couples/friends in sports cars so needed the onsite parking.

We recently stayed there for three nights as a couple. The location is ideal - close to major attractions and restaurants, but tucked into a side street where you can escape the bustle and noise. The facilities are clean and well cared for - modern, with a certain degree of quality. We opted for the included breakfast. This self-service option provides coffee drinks via a machine, juices, scrambled and cooked eggs, bacon, sausage, breads, cheeses, cold cuts, yogurt, cereals and pastries. The breakfast area is rather large (we never had to fight for a spot), and there is a little enclosed patio for eating breakfast or just sitting outside. (Due to weather, we didn't have an opportunity to experience it first hand). All in all, a super experience!
