Dinner was top notch. Steaks came out as ordered and as tender as could be . Rooms are cozy and well suited for dining along with conversation. Warm nights offer dining canalside. A beautiful place along the Erie Canal .
Stayed here for 4 nights with my fellow friend and we adored it. We felt very safe for 2 female students travelling alone. The staff were very friendly and we got on brilliantly with the other guests too. Breakfast was delicious (make sure you get there on time) and free! We…
Bruges is small and a taxi from the train station cost €9.00 to the door. There are only five rooms in this B&B. We had room 3, en-suite and enormous. Breakfast is nice but the lady serving should not stand looking at you while you eat. Breakfast finishes at 10. The…
The views from the room are really nice and the room is beautiful I just would not recommend it to old people as there are some really high stairs. It is a little bit boring in the room to have the toilet separated from the shower (one floor higher).
The city center can be reached with a 10 minute walk. Our room was quiet, the bed was comfortable. The common bathroom was also okay, but it couldn't be closed. The breakfast was okay, and out host who sat there was very kind and helpful.
"Ask for room 3. Huge and facing canal."
"Room number 2 looks to the back of the house, its quiet"
"If you are travelling with older people or young children where mobility is an issue, don't opt for an available room on the top floor as the stairs are very steep and narrow. The B&B does make this clear in their profile but this information could be missed."
"Specifiy when booked and ask for clarification on the one you are staying in ."
"Regular rooms up top are a steep climb and smaller. The Superior Room is on the ground floor and has a couch, table and kitchenette. Probably worth the extra 10E."
