The hotel has Excellent location, ambiance and service. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast - multiple options and wonderful service in a small (feels like a BnB) dining area. We had beers on their terrace and enjoyed their bar. We kept the windows open at night and enjoyed the trees out the two story view onto the street below. It was an excellent t experience.
Great, friendly welcome on reception from the lovely Portuguese lady (sorry we didn’t take your name) and also all those we encountered at breakfast too. The ‘Charming’ room was small and so too was the bathroom, especially as the toilet. If you are a little bigger, you may struggle. All was good for us however as we didn’t actually spend much time in there at all. Pros: the breakfast room was beautiful Service fantastic Tables with white table cloths and silver coffee pot . All so perfect Music playing, lovely Good offering - really nice. Omelette were so light and fluffy Champagne! Best breakfast/ambience I’ve had. Memorable. Communal lounge and bar area were also kept to the same fantastic decor. Cons: The only think really would be no tea/coffee making facility in the room Small area around toilet - others could struggle Towels, clean but not fluffy We had an amazing stay In Bruges and would choose The Pand again. It is a few steps away from the most photographed building Rozenhoedkaai and also the canal trips too.…
Stayed with friends for 3 nights. Fantastic hotel, staff and location. Cannot praise highly enough, no doubt we will return to Bruges and wouldn’t stay anywhere else but this wonderful hotel. Tobias was so welcoming and helpful as were all the staff we encountered. Breakfast was a delight, beautifully presented with huge choice. The warm bread pudding just out of the oven was an unexpected delight. A big thank you to the staff for making our stay perfect.
I first visited this hotel 25 years ago and loved it then so returned with my family recently. It is just as I remembered it with exceptionally luxurious but cosy bedrooms, a delicious breakfast and charming staff with plenty of local knowledge. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
Our stay at The Pand was wonderful! It is a beautiful hotel, perfectly located and all the staff were exceptional. The breakfast was amazing and the overall service was the best we had during our 35 day trip around Europe. I would love to stay a little longer next time!
A fantastic hotel experience, we strongly recommend this. A beautiful building downtown Bruges. We stayed in one of their junior suites, with access to our own patio. A very nice room. We booked the optional breakfast which was great, on a service level you seldom experience at hotels. Located close to everything in Bruges in the city center, surrounded by restaurants and beautiful sights. We also booked a parking place indoors making it possible to leave a lot of luggage in the car. Very service minded staff.
I'm so glad I booked this hotel. The location was excellent and the hotel itself was exquisite. The building was beautiful with old world decor and charming hallways that made me feel like I was stepping back in time. My room was comfortable and quiet and I even had a terrace that looked out over the rooftops of Bruges! Waking up to the soft sound of distant church bells in a four poster bed was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the man at reception who checked me in equipped me with a map and recommendations and he even showed me to my room to ensure it was to my liking. The breakfast was sumptuous and the staff who served me were fantastic. I can't recommend this hotel enough, you can tell the staff are so passionate about delivering an amazing experience to the guests which they certainly did.…
From our arrival to departure the Pand Hotel in Bruges was a pleasure. Matthias, Monica and the rest of the staff could not have been nicer and helpful. We splurged and got the suite which was roomy, charming and well furnished with everything one could possibly need. Hotel location is perfect, walking distance to everything. Highly recommend this hotel.
Pre arrival communication was excellent. Superbly located in a delightful area with all the city's attractions within easy walking distance. Check in was smooth and efficient, not particularly warm and welcoming. I didn't appreciate an attempt to sell us an upgrade as part of the process. Generally, reception staff and others were very friendly and helpful. We had driven to Bruges so the provision of a private, locked garage was a benefit. We booked a Junior Suite and it didn't quite meet our expectations. Small, somewhat tired, without any "wow" factor - unappealing decor, well used linen, towels, cushions, drapes, curtains. The in-room safe was a useful facility and complimentary bottles of water appreciated. Two windows allowed daylight to enter one part of the room but they would only open partly so we couldn't fully appreciate the view. The bathroom was ok, two wash basins, toilet, jacuzzi bath and separate shower but without natural lighting or ventilation. Housekeeping kept both rooms clean and tidy. The public rooms are appealing and breakfast is wonderful. Quality linen, cutlery and crockery, a good and varied choice of delicious food, cooked and presented with charm and elegance. In summary, the Pand Romantic Hotel is a small boutique hotel in harmony with its surroundings but our room was not romantic.…
The nightly rate for this hotel is far from cheap. The hotel is small with three small areas to reside and nothing else. The charming plus room is basic, tiny tv, no tea/coffee making facilities, awkward shower over bath to negotiate, water going everywhere if not very careful and the mattress is very firm. The staff were great as was the location.
