The wife and I decided to have a long weekend away for Easter weekend, taking the car across on the Eurotunnel. It was a relatively late decision and we didn't want anything over the top, so booked this place because it looked OK and wasn't particularly expensive. So although we selected the place based on the least imaginative what we...

My girlfriend and I stayed here when we had a weekend in Bruges for our anniversary. We could not fault this hotel, staff, or facilities. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We stayed in the Marilyn Munroe room which was lovely and spacious with a view over looking t'Zand square (highly recommend trying to get this room if you...

Had a one night city break in Brugge for my wife's birthday. After searching for a good hotel I booked in at the Hollywood. We turned up early (10am) but wasn't a problem, are room was available. We had the Marilyn Monroe suite, which was excellent. We booked in for an evening meal, which again couldn't fault (frogs legs followed...

We would normally look for a hotel for a one night stay, but this was in a great, central location in Brugge so my wife thought we'd give it a go - so glad we did Lovely guest house (A mini hotel really) Great room (better than some hotels), friendly staff, great food Continental breakfast was fantastic Really couldn't be...

The hotel had a gorgeous, clean and spacious room for us, even though it was a last minute booking. The room was for a good price. Breakfast was decent and all you can eat. The location is perfect, at the edge of the city centre. Parking really close by, for only 8 € a day.

This is a great place to base yourself while experiencing the wonders of Bruges. The Marilyn Munroe room was spacious and the bed was luxurious. The room overlooks the front of the building but there was no crowd noise. Breakfast each morning was great. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Wifi coverage in the room was fine but the TV...

The hotel is a very good location not far from the main streets, within walking distance. There is underground car parking directly near the hotel, we stayed fri-sun and it was 18 euros 60cents. The breakfast was superb. we had a choice of breads and croissant's, boiled egg, ham, cheese, jams, yoghurt, glass of orange juice, and a choice of...

Finding the hotel might be a challenge, specially that on booking.com the name is completely different I would say, look for " Hollywood" sign. While checking in I thought I made a wrong hotel choice , as we entered between restaurant tables and the check-in area was tight but that feeling stopped right there, the staff were very friendly ,...

Took advice from trip advisor and booked here. Boutique type of decor - Not disappointed but with hindsight would have specifically asked for room on 1st floor. We were on top floor and room was smaller quite dark and very warm even in April. (It was 23degrees in the day) . Marilyn Monroe room apparently bigger. Beware this is in...

“If want quiet choose back room . If want lovely view ask for front facing . Can contact directly and request specific room . Marilyn Monroe seems popular. Top floor room Norma Jean was very small with no view and warm at night but very quiet.”

“The Monroe (& Chaplin) look out over the square which could be noisy late at night and very early morning when they were setting up the market (poss only weekends?) but these are definitely the best rooms. It's a bit of a climb to the James Dean which may be off-putting for some.”
