It was our first visit to this hotel, finding the parking (which is below the hotel) was somewhat of a pickle though, we managed ... but it took some time to get there. The hotel is very well located and many of the rooms recently underwent a renovation which was done very tasteful. The room we stayed in was very spacious, with L'occitane amenities (great choice by the way) and situated in the main building (which also housed the bar, always handy to know...). Breakfast was downstairs, where all the fresh ingredients were handed to you by a staff member, and the rest could be picked individually (a must nowadays in these challenging times). The only downside at breakfast was the coffee, at a hotel like this, I'd expect a better cup. Lastly, we did notice that during our stay of one of us had an allergic reaction to the air-conditioning system (and how did we know it came from there: it went away after we exited the room, and returned when we also did). A nice stay, but the allergic reaction however was somewhat of a downfall...

Great location, lovely hotel with some great period features. Service was good. Would highly recommend. Limited parking and breakfast ok - necessarily COVID constrained. Beds were very comfortable and rooms spacious

Lovely mix of traditional and the modern in this superb hotel. Brilliant location and easy to walk to all the main attractions. Breakfasts were great for range and loved the hotel bar. Super friendly staff. Terrific room, comfy beds and quiet too. Like others I would like to see more made of the history of the building. As for Bruges, you’ll not regret your visit, wonderful and the waffles and chocolate are divine 😀

A top quality hotel at the very center of this historical picturesque city. The bedrooms are classy, very spacious and comfortable. The service is excellent and the breakfast extensive. You exit the hotel almost straight into the Burg main square. Within easy walking distance are some excellent cafes and restaurants. We would have gladly spent more than 2 nights at this hotel. There is very good and secure underground parking available at the hotel; but please pay special attention to the instructions provided on how to drive to the front of the hotel upon leaving the hotel parking.
