We have stayed at the B & B many times over the years, and it's always a pleasure. Our last stay in July 2020, was after they had installed air conditioning, and it's proper, remote-controlled air conditioning, with a unit on your room's wall, just like you would get in an office. It makes a great difference, in the summer it's not unusual for Bruges to hit the high 20 and low 30 degrees Celsius and our first day on this trip was over 30. Breakfast is left outside your room and they are always good: cereal, coffee in a cafetiere, yogurts, fruit compotes, rolls, bread, slices of cheese and cold meat and often something different like pancakes if you 're staying more than one day. In your room you have a microwave and a kettle (and drinkable water from the tap throughout Bruges), a mini bar, a dining table, TV, sofa, bed, storage for clothes, hairdryer, etc, a bit like a mini apartment which is why we like it, we can just lounge around and take our time in the mornings, unlike at a hotel. With the last trip we have now stayed in all three of the suites, the ground floor is like an apartment with separate lounge and bedroom, the middle floor (balcony suite I think) is like a studio flat with separate bathroom and hallway and the top floor (room with a view) is another studio flat with separate bathroom. On top of all that, you have Benny the owner, who is fantastic: so knowledgeable, so helpful and is always up to date with what's going on in Bruges. Their parking is two minutes walk up the road and gives you secure parking (which can be your own single garage) for a really good rate. The B & B is about 10 minutes walk from the centre but is in a quiet part of Bruges. Close by is Cafe 't Terrasje, the famous Cafe Vlissinghe and 10 minutes walk gets you to the cool Bistro Pro Deo. There's also a mini supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away. And if the B & B is booked up? We can also recommend the Hotel Fevery next door, which we've also stayed at.

We stayed here in early December for 6 nights so we could spend time in Bruges around the festive period and we could not fault this place. The hotel location is perfect, 10 minute walk from market square and in a quiet area opposite a church, which we loved seeing out of our window when were having breakfast in the room. Breakfast was left outside the room each morning and was fantastic, there was so much choice, we had bread/cheese/cold meats/fruit/yoghurt/pancakes/orange juice coffee etc and each morning a different selection. The hotel room was very large with it's own TV, Kettle, Microwave, Iron, etc. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was very large and very handy for when getting ready to go out of an evening. Paul and Benny were fantastic hosts, we could not fault them. Benny made a conscious effort of having conversations with us even though he had broken his foot and gave great guidance on things to do. Never have we felt so welcome, absolutely exceptional level of kindness and hospitality. We hope you both had a wonderful Christmas and hope you are on the mend now Benny! We definitely want to revisit here.
All the best
Ellie and David

This was our second visit to B&B Bariseele and Brugge. Everything was just as great as our first vist. The B&B itself is in a rear quiet street with very little traffic. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and comfortable, with everything in them you could possible need. Breakfast is wonderful ,and delivered to your door every morning. So you can expect Fresh Fruit, yoghurt,Fresh Bread, rolls cheese ham, jam and different spreads along with a Cafetier for coffee. But, thats not all, you also get an amazing host, for whom nothing is to much trouble. Resturants ,Travel advice, days out, anything you want to know, just ask Benny.

How good is this place ? Well, we would never consider staying anywhere else.
We certainly wont leave it five years next time.

Thank you Benny, for making our second visit as memorable as our first.

Paul & Jane.

If you are looking for any other place to stay in Bruges then you should stop looking and book with Bariseele right now. We had an incredible 6 nights at this B&B. Benny is an incredible host and was so responsive and flexible with us. The B&B is only 3 units, so you get very personalized service. Benny gives GREAT recommendations for the area. We were lucky enough to be in Bruges during the summer and so there was live music and a lot of community events. The breakfast each morning was absolutely perfect, and even though we are fat Americans we were often even too stuffed to finish it all! haha!! I would love to stay here again. The B&B is in a quiet area of Bruges but is a quick and scenic 10min walk to downtown. We really loved not being downtown. I'd highly recommend staying here and I hope to visit again!

This property is situated in the quieter part of Brugge but within easy walking distance of everything the city has to offer. Hosts Benny and Paul provide a wonderfully peaceful environment whilst providing everything that you would require. The superb breakfast delivered to your room every morning is full of all fresh and tasty fare, rooms are extremely clean and provide all the necessary things you would require. The property has a limited number of parking spaces but these are secure and so no need to use the on street parking requiring meter payments. Would not hesitate to use the Bariseele if we were in the area again.

Thank you very much Barry for being our guest and giving us your view and compliments of your stay in our B&B. You have made a great choice to have booked our private parking with electric charging option. Parking spaces are very rare in the historic city, and we have the chance to have just a few for our guests. Reservation in advance is necessary. Hope to welcome you again Thank you! Benny

We chose this B&B as it was very well priced compared to everywhere else in December and looked great in pics with a good location. It did not disappoint. The breakfasts brought to your room each morning we're delicious and the hosts are very accommodating.

Benny is also an absolute hero and made sure we didn't miss our transport back to the airport.

In August we spent 6 days in Bruges in the very cozy B&B Bariseele. This was a very good choice as the hotel is situated in a beautiful, quiet area 10 minutes from the market square. Our room was very cozy. We ate delicious breakfasts every day. Fruit, pancakes, scrambled eggs and waffles, all prepared by Benny, the owner of the hotel. The room is equipped with a very comfortable bed. The daily service was exemplary. And finally, praise to Benny for his hospitality, kindness and exceptional commitment.

Thank you very much Agnes and Robert for staying 7 nights in the Bariseele Suites and for the wonderful compliments. You stayed over during a very hot period and our new installed aircondtioning has proved to be very helpfull! We are also very happy you have appreciated our efforts for the breakfast. When our guests are staying a long period we try to have something different (e.g. srambled eggs) than people staying over for a w-end (e.g.boiled egg). We hope to welcome you again another time! friendly greetings from Bruges Benny

My husband and I really enjoyed our first time in beautiful Bruges and Bariseele Bed&Breakfast was truly a highlight of our trip! From the check in to the check out Benny was very attentive and prompt and made our stay very comfortable. He was enthusiastic about telling us all we needed to know about the city and the hot spots/restaurants to check out and how to get there. This quaint B&B is located on a nice quiet street just a 10 minute walk to the main square and all the attractions. Every day we walked by a gorgeous medieval church next to the property and a beautiful canal with swans! We stayed in the room on the top floor, which was quite spacious with plush bed and huge bathroom with double vanity. Benny said “You can dance in this bathroom!”. Breakfast was delivered every morning to our room and was plentiful, fresh and delicious with enough food for later snack. We also took advantage of the infrared sauna experience they provide by appointment, which felt amazing after walking around all day. Overall, I’m so glad we found Bariseele B&B and hope we get to come back and experience it all over again! Thank you Benny and Paul for your warm welcome and hospitality!

We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay at in Bruges. The bed and
pillows are so comfortable, there is
ample space, breakfast is served to
you every morning with homemade
yogurt, fresh bread, hard boiled
eggs, fresh fruit, cheese, and
depending on the day there can be
fresh croissants or crepes. You also
feel really spoiled having it
delivered daily to your door. Benny
is very helpful and kind and is a
superb host. We loved the location
which is only 10-15 minutes from
the center but is so quiet and
peaceful. From all the places we
stayed at on our vacation it
definitely felt the most luxurious.
Renting a bike from Benny was so
convenient as well. Highly
recommend staying here when in
Bruges.

After reading reviews of the sister Hotel, and almost booking a room there, I stumbled across the Bariseele B+B and am so glad that I did! I booked the balcony (first floor) room directly with the property. Communication before our stay was excellent; Benny (owner) emailed lots of useful information and recommendations.
The room is exactly how it looks on the photos and is immaculate. We had absolutely everything we needed for our stay - radio, hairdryer, toiletries, iron etc. The location of the property is perfect; a short stroll to all the major attractions and some lovely restaurants and bars. It was about a 25 minute easy walk to the train/bus station. Throughout the duration of our stay it was very quiet and we were never disturbed by any noise or other guests.
Of course, like all the other reviews, I have to mention the breakfast tray. This was the highlight of our stay, everything was really fresh and delicious, and there was a slight variation to the content of the tray each day. It was such a treat to be able to eat leisurely in our room. Particular favourites were the home made yoghurts and pancakes. There was so much food that we were able to save some each day to take out with us.
I would definitely recommend Bariseele B+B and would stay there again if I ever returned to Bruges. I felt like we were in safe hands with Benny and could tell that he strives to give all of his guests a first class experience. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
