We have been to thias hotel several times and hope to return again. We come to Leuven to visit our former exchange student (1986-87) and her husband and three children. The hotel is perfect for these visits. The breakfast is well worth the money. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. The staff is very friendly and warm. I haighly recommend this hotel to anyone needing a room in Leuven.

This place had good reviews and it delivered. The mix of old and new in the building has been carried out superbly. The location is a lovely stroll to most destinations although use a taxi to and from the station if you have luggage. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Staff were top class and attentive. The hotel only provides breakfast which is an extensive buffet (by European Norms maybe not the excess we often see in America). It’s close to dozens of places to eat and the European cafe culture is part of the charm.

There is currently a lot of construction work on the hotel's Brusselsestraat side. Avoid any rooms on this side of the building as they are pulling down several buildings, and it looks like it's going to go on for some time. When I informed reception of this after this first night and being woken at 6 am, I was told that they had stopped for the weekend. Sunday was fine; however, the construction work started at 6 am Monday morning. When I informed the Operations Manager, he was extremely rude and dismissive and said they couldn't be held responsible for construction outside the hotel. I explained that they could have moved me or told me prior to my booking so I could book another hotel. Again, he was just rude and dismissive, and when asked to escalate it he said he was the only one to talk to. Also, the AC didn't work, and the cleanliness was lacking. Terrible service!

We returned to the hotel and it was wonderful to be back. This time we had breakfast and it was super - great variety and all beautifully prepared and cooked. We were working on our laptops outside in the lovely, quiet garden after breakfast and I went in to check if I could get another coffee but the staff member was cleaning the machine so I said it was fine. A while later, she came out with a cup of coffee to me. Fantastic service. The entire hotel is maintained and cleaned to the highest standard. Bedrooms are lovely and the bathrooms are probably the nicest I've ever seen in any hotel. Staff are exceptional and the overall experience is very relaxed and you feel you can really switch off.

Room 12 - huge room and lovely bathroom - able to darken fully for a great nights sleep. Worried to find it adjacent to the breakfast/dining room area but room was sufficiently soundproofed and it has the sort of guests that are respectful of others when coming in late! BONUS - the bar as a meeting place or last night cap venue is super! Matteus looked after us and was hugely knowledgeable about Belgian beers being friendly and professional. Breakfast is a delight (a little expensive) so go earlier rather than later to have the best of an extensive choice. This hotel is brilliant value for money and all the staff make 'good' look easy. We travelled as a group of friends and everyone would give this hotel a BIG thumbs up!

I've stayed here before, as Leuven is such a great city to visit, with such a nice atmosphere. The room. I paid the normal price, but I guess by sheer luck they put me in a really nice room, and it had a huge bed, really nice living-space, and a MASSIVE bathroom. There was a large walk-in shower, as well as a very large separate bath, which had a Jacuzzi function! Room also had a really nice coffee machine in it. The Staff. So friendly. I had an issue in that I had lent a friend my phone charger, but I needed to charge my phone to access COVID passport to be able to get home!! The hotel reception charged my phone for me, and then luckily I was able to track my friend down and get the charger anyway - either way, the reception staff really helped out - and the room staff were lovely, as well! Breakfast was lovely, too. Overall a fantastic stay - thanks!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the hotel in February. The room in the new part (charming twin) was really comfortable with large windows and a really big bathroom with a window, which is so rare in hotels. Everything was really clean and well maintained. We didn't have the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. I thought it seemed expensive at €22 per person. The staff we met were all exceptionally helpful and friendly. The location is super, close to everything but also very quiet. Looking forward to returning.

We had a very nice experience staying in this stylish hotel. Spacious room with all usual amenities, friendly and helpful staff and good sleep quality. The breakfast area was quite crowded, which felt a bit uncomfortable in this day and age - but there was a CO² meter present and staff ventilated when necessary.

Great 4 star hotel. Rooms a clean and lovely bathrooms. The first room we got on the upper floor had windows set high in the wall with no view, the one we were upgraded to was on the second floor with nice big windows. Lovely modern bathroom. Only two tiny bottles of water in the room, maybe 250 ml, you would need to stock up on that yourself if you want to use the coffee machine and still have some water left! There was no room service when we were there - but you could go and get something in the bar and have it there or bring it to you room. If you are a light sleeper you may want a room at the back. Because it's a student town you will hear them during the night and the narrow cobbled street with high walls on either side funnels up the sound of voices and early morning traffic/deliveries on the cobbles - especially if you leave the window open. They turn off the air con in winter so we had the windows open and it was a trade off between heat and noise. Staff very nice and professional.

I basically just spent the night here. Nice looking hotel, room etc. Friendly and helpful staff. They have remembered and kept the reservation for my taxi at 4am. I didn't have the possibility to try the breakfast. Maybe next time. Location good. I would recommend it.
