Stayed here two nights with friends. Nice. Cheap hotel bang in the middle of town. Very friendly staff and the hotel and bar ooze nostalgia. Anybody that complains about the state of the hotel should simply go to a more expensive hotel. What do you expect for a 1 star hotel?

Pure nostalgia directed us towards this once famous cocktail bar attached to the hotel. Once very known for its famous huge cocktails with fresh fruit, it has become a place to avoid. Unattractive, close to filthy, bottled fruit juice, fruit sticks from the day before, waiters unattractive. We had one drink an decided to never come back again.

I rate this place three stars but I would still recommend it. Leuven is a wonderful place to visit and this hotel is in the center of it all. The room is very outdated and loud, but saying that, it is in the center of bar district and hotel professor is also a bar. We enjoyed the bar district ;)... More

Cheap and cheerful rooms ok but defy needs a brush up. Great drinks menu and late bar - rooms certainly spacious butno shower curtain so careful you don't flood the bathroom we did oops albeit not intentionally

This is an ideal pub and hotel within reach of the bars and restaurants in this lovely area of Belgium. The hotel was basic, with no shower guard so we wet the bathroom floor all through and was worried it could affect downstairs but we got away with it

Lovely place to sit and people watch in Leuven with a fab cocktail all served at a reasonable price too. Good selection of beers too. Nice service and close to the centre of the city. We sat outside on a lovely summer evening.

Take the hotel for a bed, not for the room. Ideally located in the inner city of Leuven. The breakfast is included so with that in mind the room is well balanced in price. Breakfast is made per table, do not expect a fruit-salade, expect fresh bread, cheese, ham, salami, some sweet, egg, orange jus, coffee, tea. And just ask... More

the furniture is a bit antiquated but it is extremely well kept, the breakfast is also very filling. the only downside is that it was kind of noisy, the students had finished their exams and were celebrating, my advise would be to take ear plugs with you.

The menu of the bar is quite exhaustive with a big well classified list of cocktails. The description of every drink makes it easy to choose. Although, the outdoor seating these days has been full, the service is very quick with cordial staff. Overall a great arrangement in the Center of Leuven.

The hotel is great. Beds are comfortable, breakfast is filling, and it's in the centre of the city. However, the hotel is located right next to a student bar, where the students of Leuven party into the early hours of the morning. I went to bed at 11, when the noise started, and couldn't sleep until 3. This was frustrating... More
