Lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and very reasonably priced. Suited our needs totally. Restaurant next door friendly and superbly cooked food, nothing too much trouble. Situated in the town centre, but ample parking. Would recommend and go again.

Spotless and minimalist, the accomodation offers all the weary traveller needs without straying into faux luxury land. Friendly front house. The associated restaurant has been deservedly busy both times I have visited, offering a bistro menu to suit most tastes. I don't know if there is anywhere else to stay in Aarschot nor can I think of a reason to... More

I have just returned from a 4 night business trip, staying at the 'S Hertogenmolens Hotel. I had a great stay and would definitely return in the future Positives _______ - Very central location, easily within walking distance of train station (and nearby eateries, etc.) - Very impressive building - interior decor, absolutely superb. - Comfortable bedroom (in the older... Very nice hotel, close walk to the centre of Aarschot. Been twice and on both occasions have been given a room with a very nice view. Would definitely come back again if I were on a personal holiday. Wifi could be better but I've been on worse connections.

Aarschot in August is as empty as an eaten snail, due to vacation period. Only bikers on the roads and elderly or handicapped trying to find a shadow in the park near the church. Hertogenmolens hotel is built actually on a "water cutter-managing" system of maybe 16nth century. The initial building's elements -clearly maintained and seen in and out of... More

Wow. This is a quaint, beautifully restored old mill and farmhouse. I arrived quite late but luckily in time to check-in, and enjoyed a good dinner, bath and a nights sleep. Breakfast deserves a mention: good quality ingredients, not a broad selection but just enough.

We arrived on a bitterly cold day (below freezing) to an unsmiling welcome. The receptionist was not rude, but rattled off information and rules so fast and with so little attention to the people in front of her that it was impossible to follow everything. We were told that after nine pm we must use a code to get in... More
