The Marriott thing might always be good if not predictable, this place, however exceeds all expectations, the location is prefect, right in the historic old town which is simply stunning, it fronts a beautiful canal with all the stunning bridges and architecture to be seen In all directions, the old squares and churches are all within moments walks as with...

Have been to Ghent many times before but never stayed here. Brilliant location on the canal. Underground car par quite costly at 23 euros per night but that is my only gripe. Met at reception by the impeccably dressed Davy, who gave us full and clear information about everything we needed to know. Open plan landings which remained cool throughout...

We stayed for 3 night, 4 days, the hotel is very artistics, representing how Ghent in the past and how the city (of course Marriot chose this as its typical, indeed attracted people to try!) keep the guinine of the city. The hotel still brings its modern way design! check the inside! The glass roof, the lights changes, very nice!...

Great hotel, staff, food & location. It is difficult to write the 200 character words required because I've summed it up. I only write reviews when hotels are really bad or really good and this is excellent. No complaints whatsoever, its worth the bit extra to stay here.

We found this hotel very comfortable, clean and very central. The rooms are big & spacious & the bed was huge but the shower was not great. We stayed room only so cannot comment on food. I didn't find the reception staff very helpful when trying to print some documents from the computer in the bar area.

This is a superb hotel. The location is oustanding, and so is the quality of the hotel, service and rooms. With a basement car park and elevevators up to the hotel, it could not be more convenient for travellers. The breakfast buffet is excellent.

I have just returned from a 4 day trip to Ghent and booked this hotel based on t/a reviews and I was certainly not disappointed. The hotel is in an excellent location in one of the most scenic parts of the city, Kornlei. This area really comes alive at night when all the restaurants along the canal are overflowing with...

It is really a gorgeous hotel both inside (modern style) and outside (Belgium/Dutch style). The location is perfect, in the heart of Ghent most touristic landmarks. The room is small but very clean, comfy and has a wonderful view of the old city. The cable selection is decent and the internet connection solid. The parking is a pain: you need...

Just spent 3 nights at this hotel. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed. Staff in the bar and restaurant were friendly and polite. Excellent breakfast and our evening meal, although expensive was very nice. Lovely location in the centre of town. However don't use the parking at 23 euros a night - park in St Michels car park...

firstly if driving - the hotel parking is accessed from the back but once you get this solved you are ahead of the game. Nice sized rooms and i along with three colleagues were given rooms to the rear as the end of the music festival was the same night as we stayed - result - no noise at all....
