Europa Hotel is located southwest of Gent 10-15 minutes to city centre by bus. You can get buses 38 and 39 from city centre and get off at bus stop called "Verenigdenaties". The bus stop is just across the hotel, a couple of minutes on foot, actually you can see the bus stop as you get out from the front... More

Lovely rooms, really clean and tidy, and the hotel staff are polite and helpful. The evening meal was gorgeous but over-priced for the amount you get. Rubbish deserts. Rubbish breakfast, not much choice at all, too expensive for what you get. My parents said their room was nice and quiet. However, there was constant noise in my room, lots of... More

Nice hotel a bit outside of Gent center. We were given a room on the quiet area as requested. The room was nice, clean and well equipped (even with a coffee machine). Comfortable bedding, quality flat screen television, very nice bathroom. Reception personnel was very efficient and welcoming. The Hotel has a free parking area. We decided to take the... More

First impression of the hotel wasn't great as the receptionist was smoking out front. Check in was ok, although we had to ask to change rooms. Hotel is relatively clean... bedroom was spotless but public areas were not, in particular the bar. Service was also pretty poor depending on who you got. The restaurant was closed for dinner during our... More

Neat n tidy rooms, descent sized.Friendly staff.Beautiful location on the banks of a beautiful canal. But located a bit away from the city center. Very quiet with lots of greenery around ... ideal place to relax. Not very expensive, value for money.

My friend and I stayed in this hotel for one night whilst on a cycling holiday. It is a little out of the City Centre but easily walkable if you are fairly fit. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable - pillows not briliant - typical hotel pillows. The room was nice and quiet. The staff... More

We booked this hotel having first checked reviews. Our experience has been good. It is situated in a quiet residential area 1.9 miles from the city centre, i.e. a pleasant 25 minute walk along the canal to reach St Michael's Bridge - buses are available a short walk from the hotel. There are no restaurants in the area around the... More

Great hotel and very friendly staff. very comfortable and clean rooms. The hotels location was great, only about a 7 minutes drive to the centre. The only tip, stay away from room 201, theres nursery close to the hotel, and you could hear the kids screaming and shouting none-stop from around 8.30 am! otherwise, really great hotel. Room was nice... More

Stayed at the Europa after reading reviews. Travelling by car so didn't want to stay in the centre of Ghent. Free parking a plus. Fifteen walk to tram stop and ten minute ride into city centre. A n excellent three star hotel. Large room, very comfortable bed, friendly staff. Walked around Ghent all day and decided to return to the... More

We were trying to stay positive as much as possible. However the hotel' staff tried their best to spoil everything. Eventually they won, so we can admit that service is very poor. Issues we were through: - Airconditioner didn't work - Didn't have hot water for one day - Safe was locked (staff could not fix it straightway and didn't... More
