In a time we arrived it was not much guests in, so in general February is not a good time for traveling. Receptionist gave us a key with friendly smile - we went through the corridor ( nice and cosy, big photo-paper, sculptures) and enter into our room. In a bathroom we were, well, bit confused. It was bathroom for disabled - with go-in shover - big and uncomfortable. so, it fills all over like in hospital. So such unpleasant, without any notice or so. Besides of all, it was no bath mat in a first evening - and everything was wet - twice i slipped and nearly fall down. Here was an experience on very expensive hospital room in Gent

Located a good 20min walk from the city. This didn't bother us at all. We had a car and parking was free, which was great. Rooms were a great size and we're modern and clean. Would definitely stay here again next time.

Stayed here for 1 night. Easy to find, a 15 minute walk from the train station. Reception staff were really good and welcoming. Offered advice on how best to get to the city centre. Room was available to us an hour before the check in time, which we are grateful for. Room was clean and sizeable. Asked for a double, but it was two single beds pushed together which was a shame. Wi fi was good in all areas. 30 minute walk to the city, not much to see en route to it so advise a tram or bus as you don't miss anything. The reception staff tell you which buses to get. There is a good looking restaurant on the ground floor. We didnt go but if we had more than 1 night we would have.

Stayed for 2 nights in early December. The hotel is ideally located on a quiet street opposite a canal. 20 - 30 minuet walk into the centre which was ideal but also a tram stop at the end of the street and a bus stop on the other side of the canal - 5 minuet walk. Hotel was clean, modern with excellent staff. Bedroom was comfortable and quiet with everything you would expect - including a fridge for the wonderful Belgian beer purchases! Breakfast buffet was excellent! Would I stay again? Yes, definitely!

We were welcomed early by lovely Nadine, a real star of this hotel! “No problem enjoy the city, your car is safely parked. See you later when your room is ready.” The hotel is a 30minute walk from the city centre and better for it. A lovely quite pedestrian friendly city and the worst noise we experienced was the chug of boats on the nearby river. A lovely view whilst having a coffee in the morning! Beds good, shower fab and a wee fridge you can stock with local beers etc to save a few €😊. Strongly recommend!
