We were looking for a stopping point enroute from Amsterdam to Provence since we traveled with a 16 month old. This was a perfect spot and I would definitely stay here again when visiting the area. The owners were wonderfully accommodating to us and our grandson. We had dinner there which was very good and a lovely buffet breakfast.

A gem of a hotel at the end of a lane in farming country near Arlon. Easily accessible from the motorway but quiet and relaxing and well located for a halfway stop en route from Switzerland to Calais. Pleasant rooms, clean comfortable and well appointed. The Zinc restaurant serves gourmet menu and great selection of Belgian beers. Plenty of parking... More

Thanks to previous reviewers for highlighting this great hotel - and it's beer selection. We needed a stop off on our way back to Dunkirk from Italy and after a long drive it was nice to arrive at such a peaceful location. Our garden terrace room was excellent, the staff were lovely and recommended different beers to taste, all very... More

If you fly into Brussels, Belgium Arlon is about 2 hours away with easy motorway access. But when you get to Arlon finding the hotel is a different matter. They have rerouted the roads since my Garmin was updated.Take the N844 and, looking at the google map, take the first Chemin du Peiffeschoff since the second road is closed off.... More

I came across a recommendation for this hotel in the CAMRA's Good Beer Guide for Belgium and thought we would give it a try as its a long haul from Dunkirk to Alsace. It was ideal choice. We had two regrets, we should have stayed several nights and we had already booked another hotel in the region for our return... More

I have visited Belgium perhaps 200 times over the years, partly through necessity, partly for pleasure. This is my absolute favourite of the hundreds of hotels in which I have stayed. It has a beautiful quiet setting a couple of kilometres out of town. There is a sun-trap enclosed garden in summer. All year they have lovely Swiss-style chalet rooms.... More

Only one night here - unfortunately! Lovely room, comfortable bed, great lounge and peaceful surroundings. Restaurant Zinc was excellent, as was the breakfast spread. Interesting building and facilities. Well worth stopping off here.

We booked this hotel for an overnight stay on the strength of the good reviews. We were not dissapointed. After a very friendly welcome by the owners, we settled in our cosy room which was very clean and had everything we needed. Dinner in the restauraunt, which seems to be frequented by the locals is of a high standard. We... More

Aim to arrive at this hotel before 8PM at latest if you want dinner. Last orders in the (very good) restaurant are at 8:30PM. And you need to drive slowly down the road off which the Chemin du Peiffeschof lies, to give your SatNav a chance of spotting it in time. But once we arrived, we had a warm welcome... More
