We booked a family room (3 person) with two beds. The room is so so and the decoration is just like a normal Ibis and the breakfast is okay. The best thing about the hotel is its location and proximity with the shopping mall and sightseeing points. Plus there's a public car park (of shopping mall) directly beneath the hotel and you can have a special price of 10 Euro parking for a night (as at Dec 19) .

Great location for anyone visiting the area, very responsive staff members although the Hotel itself is very out dated, If you are on a short break here it’s perfect based on location and price. Would stay again.

The good: Right in the center of Liège, across the street from the opera house. It’s a couple of kilometers from the main train station, meaning a short taxi ride or a 10-minute ride on the number 1 or 4 bus. Bed: excellent, as in all Ibis hotels. Bathroom: Superior here than in most Ibises, with a big shower, great water pressure, and plenty of hot water. Noise: Silent. Parking. There’s a garage directly underneath which has an arrangement with the hotel whereby guests pay 10 euros for 24 hours which is more than reasonable. Housekeeping staff: efficient and pleasant, despite an “issue” which I brought to their attention directly rather than “reporting” it to management. The person in question very nicely assumed responsibility for an oversight. Good person. The less good: Bed linens: I hate the fact that Ibis hotels provide only a duvet, with no top sheet. In the case of this particular Ibis, they had the heating on full-blast, and it cannot be controlled individually. Nor can the window be opened, “for security reasons”, they told me. So one has a choice: roast under the duvet, or sleep naked on top of the mattress. Very very unpleasant. I solve it by always carrying my own top sheet with me. Wifi: excellent but connecting is by no means automatic initially. Problem-solving: Ibis has a policy of solving any guest’s problem within 15 minutes. The front desk is staffed by one person at a time who is overworked and cannot absent him/herself even for a moment. My wifi problem was “solved” by my having to come downstairs and have the front desk person tell me that it was my fault. I sat on my second day for about an hour in the little “bar” adjacent and open to the lobby, where I could witness the 15-minute solution which other guests encountered. With no exception, the answer was no, or the guest was mistaken, or whatever. Nothing was ever resolved at all, much less within 15 minutes. The lobby: Essentially non-existent, and the seating area minuscule. Breakfast: I refused to pay 15 euros for an Ibis breakfast. There are many excellent, reasonably priced cafés nearby. Not good. So the whole experience was a mix. Overall, it was probably the least good Ibis experience I have had. I’ve given it a 3- rather than a 2-star rating beause the basics were there: a good bed and a good shower.

This hotel is located right in the middle of an unusually busy city. Actually I had expected Liege to be much smaller than it turned out to be. Driving sometimes makes things more difficult to locate. That is the case with this hotel. Many of the streets are one way and very narrow. If you don't know the city, you can easily get turned around or miss a turn. GPS doesn't always help with these tasks. Since we were in Liege to visit the Christmas Market there, this is a good place to stay. Very close to walk there and considering all the other businesses nearby, it makes it very convenient. Park your car and walk around. The rooms are nice except trying to regulate the temperature was not possible. With no A/C or anyway to open a window, it got a little uncomfortable in the room. I didn't happen to notice a fan but since it was winter, I didn't really look. They should have some type of air handling system that the customer can control in the room. The room and bathroom were clean. The beds were comfortable. I think I would recommend this to others but I'd have to warn them about the room ventilation if they were going to stay in the summer months.

It started with the receptionist who was really hospitable and calm though we came in the middle of an apparently crowded day with a large group of people checking in. I could’ve checked in via their app but I had some special requests). The rooms are standard ibis rooms with sufficient amenities for two adults and a kid. The carpet has a print which at the beginning I thought stains but appeared to be a repetitive print, yet the whole room I found was really clean and nice. Beds are average in comfort and heating system is excellent, only I think in summer might be a concern as I saw a fan, and no A/C controls, also the windows are key locked so it might be hot. The parking costs 10€ a day after stamping your parking ticket at the reception, but with each usage of your car a new ticket will be issued so I recommend you walk, since almost everything is a walking distance. Here comes the location which I see as the deal maker for this hotel, it is simply amazing; you can walk almost to everywhere, choose from a bunch of nearby restaurants fitting all budgets and all tastes (as of what I know). Also comes within the vicinity of two shopping malls. Definitely a hotel I would recommend.
