Room size was excellent old time appearance with the wood floor a key to open and close the door old fashioned is best, cleanliness was perfect, the breakfast was wholesome and enjoyable. The hotel is located beside the town center only a couple of minutes walk. The stairs to the rooms are a little steep but are so quirky with...

We arrived late due to French Ferry Strike so the reception was closed. But one phone call and our wonderful host had arranged everything perfectly. We had the front room on the first floor overlooking the street. Incredibly spacious and a superbly comfortable bed. Wonderful bathroom and an extra bed if you were bringing you grandchildren. We have stayed at...

First visit to this hotel but our fifth to Tongeren. We visit twice a year for the antiques market and love the city & region. We loved the Caelus and would recommend it to anyone considering a visit. A warm welcome from Corne and his staff, spotless rooms, stylish with those extra luxuries you expect from this class of hotel....

Awesome design hotel. Everything was nice in this hotel. The rooms are new and stylish, huge king sized double bed, which is extra comfortable. The bathroom is well equipped with a huge shower cabin. There were no reception when arrived, but the staff informed us perfectly how to get into the hotel, and the rooms waited for us prepared. WIFI...

This is an outstanding small hotel in a perfect spot in a really nice city. And to top it off, we were greeted by a great host, Corne Meertens. On arrival, Mr. Meertens made us feel quite welcomed and was immediately informative about the local area. He then showed us a couple of rooms to choose from and we accepted...

We (couple in mind-30’s) really enjoyed staying here for a 2 night stay in Tongeren. The hotel is small and located in the heart of town. It was a 10 minute walk from the train station with luggage, but nice stroll along a street filled with shops. We stayed in an upstairs room that was off the outside courtyard. The...

GREAT LOCATION! Everything is within walking distance. Restaurants, shopping, bakeries, and sightseeing. The inside of hotel is quite charming. Old mixed with new. Each hotel room is very different. From color scheme to the layout. Only negative. It was a bit confusing how to actually get into the hotel. You have to walk around and into a restaurant to let...

We stayed one night. We were given Bedroom n°3 Excellent: size and quality of bed Reasonable: size and disposition of room and bathroom Poor: amenities - no tea, only coffee - no individual shower/soap units, just a one-does-all squeezey Bad: nothing personal, nothing friendly, only efficient Very bad: never take that room: insulation to room upstairs non-existent, cooking smells in...
