We stayed here for 3 nights in a double bedded room. Although the train station is very near but the road is a steep climb .So with luggage it was pretty exhausting. The check in was very smooth and we were offered a street view room. The rooms were very comfortable with clean linen and huge windows .There was a... More

Cute hotel in a great location. Rooms are cosy and the staff are very helpful. I liked the vibe of the street with cafes and supermarkets on the doorstep. Wifi was excellent and the bed very comfortable. Tis a little outside the centre €5/6 in a cab 15 mins walk.

The hotel is only 10 minutes far away from the city center by foot. The room was clean and they had a confortable bed and pillows, the design was a mix between modern style and pop art. The bathroom was nice, beautiful and clean. Breakfast is great! They have an orange juice machine and nice bread and jams.

When we decided to find a short cut to reach the hotel and take a short cut it was pretty steep 15 min climb from centre with the luggage. it was tough. The room allocated to us was literally was on terrace below the tilted roof. Small and hot with no access to lift till the end. Up on request... More

This is a good budget hotel. It is clean and newly furbished. Bed not very comfortable, very few English channels, wi-fi had disruptions. There is a fridge and wa ater kettle, which is a positive feature. The location is noisy at the corner of busy streets. If you are on a tight budget consider it, otherwise find a more comfortable... We Stayed at Hotel Retro for 2 nights, and really enjoyed our experience, we were booked in a XXL room which I believe is there top room, prices were very reasonable. The design of the room was very quirky, oversized purple chairs and cool orange lamps, large king sized bed, and a large writing desk with a big mirror. The... More

Unsuitable for persons of average height, personnel very unfriendly (suggestion that it is my fault for being larger than 180cm). Bathroom equipment broken, stairs in a bad and dangerous shape. Keep away whenever possible

We liked this hotel a lot - a little out of the main area but we don't mind a walk (20 mins). Relatively close to train station from airport (10 mins). Very clean and tidy, good size room and bathroom. Breakfast was worth the 12 Euro pp, with good variety and nice breaky room. We would return if coming back... More

The hotel is quite nicely placed, only a 10-15min walk into the centre. Lovely room, very clean and relatively quiet even on the road. Lovely restaurant over the road and a little supermarket right underneath. Didn't try the breakfast so can't really comment, but the staff were very accommodating and we had a really lovely time.

The hotel isn't far from the centre. 10-15m walk. The botanical garden is right out front. Metro station is a 2 minute walk. It's location at a junction makes the rooms towards the road fairly noisy. Basic soap dispensers, basic rooms, few channels on the TV. The price reflects what you get. No more no less.
