Retro proved perfect for a two night stay - the staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I stayed room only (I didn't book it) - so can't report on breakfast. I didn't realise they did breakfast- I went across the street to Bloom! Hotel and paid €19 per time. An option for others? Area is edge of...

Let's be honest! When you arrive, the doors are closed, not sure you are at the good place. You hear a noise, you can come in. Large door and small reception. And you say.... oh God all these years to arrive here, who am I, who are they to reserve me a room in such a place. The staff? Anonymous......

We arrived at the hotel our room was not ready but they looked after our case. The room we had was on the top floor which was clean but small. They supplied ear plugs??? Then I found out why the weather was windy & rainy which was so so noisy on the skylight window!! And also I had to be...

We stayed here for two nights on our weekend trip to Brussels. The room was surprisingly big and looked good. Only downside was the temperature in the hallways and room. There's an airco unit in the room, but that was a bit too noisy to sleep next to. Setting it to a near-freezing setting while you're away at least keeps...

The hotel was clean, bed was comfy and changed daily. Bathroom was also clean and the shower was fine. Perfect for a city break as ten-minute easy convenient walk to the city centre. Staff were really nice and helpful

We didnt really know what to expect from this hotel other than what we read and the pictures we saw online. The first thing we experienced was a really nice receptionist who greeted us and gave us a really good overview of the city and what to do in Brussels. This hotel lies near the metro stop botanique so its...

The zone is one of the most dangerous in Brussels, right next to the Botanic Park, house of drug dealers and thieves. Sketchy, at best. I had to extend my stay for 2 more nights, and I explained this when I arrived (5 days earlier). They told me maybe they had a cancellation... They string me along until 2 hours...

We booked superior double. Room was okay, clean. Bathroom functional. Too little room around sink to leave make up, creams etc. Shower rather weak and temperature seems to change when someone else is using shower in the building... Black sink looks absolutely awful after using it! Water stains visible etc. 1 of the lights in the room did not work,...

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights purely to visit Brussels , the Christmas Markets and For a day trip to Brugge . Finding the hotel from the Nord station was a nightmare but thereafter we found it ok as it was about a 10 minute walk to the city center and station for our trip to Brugge . Value...
