We have staid in Pullman in the past in other EU cities, and it was always an amazing experience. That's why we have decided to choose Pullman again on our short trip to Brussels. Unfortunately, it was anything but great this time. We got checket in a room with a malfunctioning AC, so there was nothing to breather, and an obvious water damage in the bathroom. The receptionist was kind enough to give us another room with a small upgrade. However, there were multiple things not worthy a 4 star hotel - like the shower head that sprays out of the connection, tap not turning off when you switch to the shower head, so you waste double as much water! Hair dryer that switches on and off itself while you try to dry your hair. And best of all - 2 out of 4 pillows were dirty. One had a huge yellow stain and another a blood drop. In the morning we asked to change the dirty pillows, and when we came back in the late evening it turned out that only one pillow was changed, while the one with the huge yellow spot was just turned upside down on the bed. Also the showers in the gym/sauna area were not operational so there is no way to enjoy the sauna properly... Breakfast was good and stuff was friendly. But overall the experience was upsetting for a 4-star hotel with a high price tag. Totally not worth it…
Finding the hotel in the station is not easy, as there are no clear signs, so the easiest way to locate it is walk to platform 1 end of the concourse, and it is opposite the Eurostar check-in lounge. There are also roadworks between the hotel and the city centre, so use your Eurostar ticket to get to Brussel Centraal or Noord for free. We chose the Pullman as it was very convenient for our Eurostar late arrival. We were greeted by Mathilde who was happy to offer late check-out with our Gold Accor ALL status. We also received a welcome drinks voucher and water and chocolates in the room. The 9th floor room was spacious with plenty of comfortable furniture and storage space, a large shower and separate toilet. Some of the shower gel dispensers were missing and we had instead a small tube of shower gel that had already been opened. We were hoping for a late night drink in the bar but it closes at 11pm. We had a comfortable night's sleep and a great day in Brussels. Returning to the hotel before our journey home we enjoyed the Victor Bar on the 1st floor, and left our room at 5pm, using quick check-out by dropping our room keys in a box. …
it use to be a very nice hotel now room are not clean dirt hair from previous guest the management shiuld do something i guess they dont care the use a third company to clean their room so not clean has it use to be
The best part about Pullman is it's location. It is right at the end of platforms 3-4 at Brussels Midi train station, right opposite the Eurostar terminal. The hotel is posh, modern and extremely comfortable. The rooms are big and clean. The bed was very comfortable with different styles of pillows. The toilet and the shower are different and in two parts of the room. But both very clean and well stocked with soaps, hair gels and body lotions, towels, tissues and a hair dryer. The breakfast spread is huge and caters to everyone's taste. The checkin was smooth and the staff are always smiling and helpful.
Welcoming first class hotel. Situated in the main station. Alongside Eurostar terminal. Room excellent. Very clean. Only paper cups. Glasses would be nicer. Spoons would be helpful. Hugo restaurant on first floor excellent. Hotel is dear but well worth it.
good hotel with easy reachable location and easy to airport or city or any train even if area around is not the cleanest or nice. room on eight floor was good, great shower and good bed but in the morning the water pressure was terrible so i could hardly shower and was not really hot, and even if breakfast starts at 06 it was a sad site at 06.15 without orange juice, coffee machine not working and except one cook who trying to get all the things out not what you would expect, even 30 minutes later it was not ready, on good side you could just eat what was there as there was nobody checking as well. there were only me another guest so i guess early morning is not the thing but still the breakfast at this hotel is really usually superb so not sure what went wrong on Friday but did not have to discuss with hotel as was rushing to airport.…
We ate in the Bar of the Pullman between the Eurostar from London and the NightJet to Vienna. The meal was faultless,l and the service excellent. The rhubarb crème brûlée was especially good. A great way to break our journey. And they let us leave our luggage while we had a quick look around outside.
Nice hotel but sort air con hotel is fine room , nice room but at hotel rating air con too hot would not stay again for business..if im working I need a decent night's sleep..not here breakfast was fine.. check in fine location fine would be OK on winter but avoid in summer at all costs
If you need to be near the Brussels ,idi station, this is to place to be. It is connected to the stations and the hotel is ,odern zith very nice rooms. The staff is incredably professionnal and friendly. The only negative point is also a positive one; the location. The area is sketchy but if you knoz hoz to navigate around, its fine.
If quality and convenience is what you are looking for then look no further than this hotel. Attached to Brussel-Zuid midi station this is perfect if you have travelled on Eurostar. Staff are friendly, rooms clean and well appointed with a superb breakfast service. The only very minor quibble relates to the views out of the windows that look towards the inner quadrangle and the fact that the area immediately surrounding the hotel is not the nicest! However that is common around stations in many European cities including London and Paris.
