Overall the hotel is neat and their breakfast is very good. The beverage section in the reception area needs some serious TLC though as we found many dirty glasses with lipstick and fingerprints on them. The shower was extremely small. We did have 1 staff member who spoke English very well and he also gave a us a good tip on where to buy some amazing chocolates!
Location was perfect, our room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfy. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The breakfast was at the 9th floor terrace with fresh orange juice, good coffee, variety of pant based milk, mint-lemon fresh water, american pancake etc. HEAVEN! All of the staff was very friendly and helpful! The price worth it so much! We totally recommend this hotel to everyone! We'll come back! :)
Nice spacious room and bathroom, breakfast was wonderful selection with lovely staff on duty. Rooms nice and quiet, must be well sound proofed? Location lived up to the 'central' billing. Chic neat styling.
Stayed here for two nights over a weekend in June. Hotel has an excellent location in the centre of Brussels, and is only 10 to 15 minutes walk from Gare Centrale (the De Brouckere metro station is also literally outside). We arrived at lunchtime and were able to check in straight away. Our room was on the third floor at the back of the hotel overlooking the shopping area of Rue Neuve- we did worry about noise from outside but this did not prove to be a problem. Our room was spacious and modern with a clean and contemporary bathroom. Tea and coffee-making facilities were provided, and there was a good quality TV with a wide variety of channels from all over Europe. We had breakfast each day on the 9th floor terrace, which provides excellent views over Brussels. We were impressed with the choice available, and the staff on hand were very attentive. The hotel is obviously aimed more at business travellers and this gives it a slightly soulless feel, but it offers a good value location to stay in Brussels.…
The staff here are so friendly and helped us with directions to nearby attractions as well as maneuvering the metro to get to the train station. Super clean rooms with a large tub and shower with handrails. The highlight of our stay, besides location, was the incredible breakfast buffet on the rooftop. I think it costs $15-$20 per person, and well worth it. The variety of fresh fruits, warm foods including an omelette bar, Belgian waffles, meats, salads, oatmeal, yogurts, pastries and a coffee machine that makes all kinds of coffee drinks plus fresh squeezed juices is beautifully displayed.
We had a great 3 night stay. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The breakfast is amazing. The location is perfect for walking to the square and surroundings, as well as accessing the metro for daytrips out of town. We would definitely stay here again.
We spent three nights in a suite. The view of the square was lovely. The room was spacious and clean. Beds were firm but comfortable. Loved having dual controls for ac. Close to lots of top attractions and train station just a block away. Rooftop breakfast/bar is great.
This hotel is targeted towards a business traveler, but we found it really enjoyable for our leisure trip. We trained in from Amsterdam and you can take the metro/tram from Gare Centraal or Midi to the De Buchere stop right outside the hotel. First, the front desk staff was super helpful; they spent so much time going over the city map with us and providing dinner and chocolate shop recommendations. Our room was large by European standards, with very comfortable beds. On our last night, we returned to find a bottle of cava and snacks awaiting us. Such a nice surprise! The best part of the stay, however, was breakfast. It was served buffet-style with a large variety and the option to add on cooked to order omelets. They had a huge selection of juice and tea, plus two self serve coffee makers. Anyways, we loved our time at the NH. Highly recommend it to anyone staying in Brussels.…
We praise the front desk employees for their politeness and eager to assist attitude. The room was clean and the beds are super comfortable. I went to bed with back pain but woke up with no pain. (The cobbled streets was a challenge for me.) The safe in the room was an asset. Able to walk to the Grand Place and Royal Gallery of Saint Hubert where fabulous restaurants are awaiting you.
My husband and I selected the NH Collection hotel based on its proximity to Ancienne Belgique, guest reviews and the good-looking breakfast. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We arrived from New York at 7 a.m., took the subway to the hotel, and the INCREDIBLE front desk manager Pedro didn't hesitate to give us early check in at 10 a.m. The fact that we were able to take a shower and change our clothes set us up for success that entire day. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet, and our stay was superb. The hotel breakfast is by far the most lavish and delicious breakfast buffet I've ever had, and there were lovely touches in the lobby throughout the day and night--a water and candy assortment made it a fun place to come home to. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We'd go back in a heartbeat.…
