Worst case of false advertising I have ever experienced. I booked this hostel online thinking it looked alright and that it would be a good location, close to the central station and the city centre but I got there and the place was awful. The room wasn't ready for me when I got there, so I had to pay to... More

Great location. 5-10min walk from central station. Limited reception hours. When I showed up at 2pm to checkin, reception was just re opening after their lunch break and there was a big queue of people waiting and only one girl on reception who was a bit flustered. It was ok though. Building is old. Looks old. But is relatively clean,... More

There were two of us staying at the hostel, but for vacancy reasons had to get a single room and another bed in a shared room. After paying at the reception, we went upstairs to check out the rooms and we were surprised by a dirty single room that no one had bothered to clean after the last stay. The... More

The hostel is indeed cheap and clean, but I wouldn't choose it at all if you want to enjoy your weekend in Brussels: - Very unfriendly staff, who made us feel the whole time like they were doing us a favor for answering our questions - Wierd enough, they FORCE you to leave the hostel every day between 10:00 and... 4 of us stayed at the Bruegel Youth Hostel in September 2013. It was a great stay and much cleaner and more amenities than you would expect from a Hostel with a reasonable price. The rooms are clean and private, offering a chance at your own shower which can be a relief after travelling in group and staying in dorms.... More

Pro: very clean, great location near town center and train station, felt safe, gave me a great take-away breakfast (four slices of bread, jam, butter, generic Nutella, orange, chocolate milk, two small cheeses) because I was leaving before breakfast began Con: pay (1.50) lockers for early check-in, showers are a pain but save water, 10-2 lock out (bit surely you're... Avoid at all costs, unfriendly staff, horrific rules (not allowed inside your room or the hostel at all for a large portion of the day). This is not so much a hostel as a detention centre filled with incredibly unfriendly and bizzare individuals running the establishment. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The location is quite near from Brussels Central Station and the famous Manneken Pis. Staff were friendly and explains so well their hotel policies. I was staying in a 4-bed dormintory and room is enough. However, there is no toilet in the room, no lockers, no towels provided, and wifi not really working except at the lobby area. Luggage room...
