It must be the most upmarket NH hotel in this most upmarket area. Generally pleasant experience albeit not without flaws. Air conditioning will only blow warm air and you cannot adjust fan speed either. (You can but it has no effect whatsoever.) Apparently it’s centrally set to “winter”and that’s why. It was unpleasantly hot in the room and upon complaining I was told to open the window... I think it’s beyond ridiculous that you can’t set the temperature to the desired level in a four star hotel. Also there was loud shouting and partying to be heard somewhere close to the hotel that was very disturbing by open windows, not to mention how irresponsible - and not allowed - it is during this pandemic. Obviously it is no fault of the hotel, but the air conditioning fiasco is. Breakfast was nicely presented and adequate. Staff also okay. …
Superb location. In a few minutes you can be almost everywhere in the center. Very clean with outstanding service. Big rooms with nice and comfortable mattresses. Full breakfast with a variety of choices. Suggested.
traveling on business, I liked the really professional staff, little administrative when I arrived, hydroalcolic gel available everywhere in the hotel, spacious room, good bedding, correct view, excellent breakfast, good restaurants nearby
perfect for discovering Brussels on foot, nice room, extremely interesting price offer on their website : 89 EUR for 2, breakfast included ; we left too early (5 AM) so they gave us a breakfast box = nice touch overall friendliness of staff way above average for Europe ; only minor point of possible improvement : water pressure in the shower insufficient to my taste (shower head too eco or 4th floor too high ?)
Nice, clean & sparkling reception area, staff very helpful & polite. Room was very clean, massive bed, good AC & bathroom. Breakfast was good, so much to chose from. You were given a tray to collect what you want from the buffet, everything was wrapped individually, Full English breakfast was provided in lidded mason jars, scrambled eggs, bacon, tomato, mushrooms etc. kept warm on a hot plate, we ordered fried eggs & they were brought out, when ready, by a waiter. Staff cleared up straight after guests left. Restaurant manager was going around offering small cakes & macaroons to guests, we found it a nice touch, he was very friendly & told us to take as many as we wanted. You could see there had been a lot of work behind the scenes, wrapping, separating & presenting, it just worked well. Sanitizer was dotted around, masks worn, covid taken very seriously in this hotel. I would definitely stay here next time, although the €30 per night for parking was a bit steep, we had a good deal on the hotel, so evened it out. …
