Great location. 5min walk from Wolf food market, which was brilliant for any and all meals! 10min walk to train station. 5min walk to Brussels centre. Very convenient. Room was fine. 3 stars as it was very small, dark and a bit worn/dated. The shower was tiny. The lifts were slow too. Check in was slow and we had to wait a while for our room to be ready. Staff were OK, just took things at their own pace. The reception is decorated well and there's free snacks on offer there. Great wee selection of food and drink to buy too if you're in a rush. Overall, its an average hotel in a great location.

Stayed here for 2 nights for the Christmas Market. First the good things the staff and breakfast was brilliant at this hotel. The location was brilliant a few minutes walk from Brussels central station and only 5 minutes to the grand place. Not so good things The rooms are all very tired no where near a 4 star rating. We had a new style superior room, these were meant to have been renovated (not sure when) Looks like maybe they have just replaced the taps and painted over some bits. We were first given room 417 but upon arrival we attempted to turn the radiator on, but it fell off the wall. It was also electrically connected with Wago Connectors which can be undone with your fingers. This should not be accessible to anyone and needs to be in a termination box of some sort. Which is very dangerous. The hotel changed our room very quickly to 418. You could see when the hotel staff were talking they just raised there eyebrows to each other and said “radiator” they were not being rude to me. The next room was fixtures were the same. And I had to laugh as I went to turn the radiator on and this time it didn’t fall off but one side wasn’t fixed so very loose. I left it like that. You can see that the radiators are fixed to a wall that has no support so I guess all the radiators were like that’s. No Wago connections this time luckily. Overall it was a average stay some very good bit and some very poor and dangerous bit

I am writing to share my recent experience during my stay at your hotel, and unfortunately, it was less than satisfactory. Upon entering my assigned room, I was shocked and disappointed to find that it was exceptionally dirty. The level of cleanliness fell far below the standards I would expect from a reputable establishment like yours. Here are some specific observations: Unclean Surfaces: The surfaces in the room, including countertops and furniture, were visibly dirty, with noticeable dust and grime. Bathroom Hygiene: The bathroom was not properly cleaned, with dirty and stained fixtures. Towels provided also appeared used and unwashed. Floor Condition: The flooring in the room looked as if it had not been vacuumed or mopped recently, with visible debris and dirt. Overall Tidiness: The overall tidiness of the room was lacking, creating an uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment. I believe it's essential to bring these issues to your attention, not with the intent of complaining but in the hope that improvements can be made to enhance the guest experience at your hotel. A clean and well-maintained room is a fundamental expectation for any guest. I encourage you to address these concerns promptly and to implement measures that ensure a higher standard of cleanliness in the future. I believe that with proper attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness, your hotel can provide a much more pleasant experience for guests. Thank you for your understanding, and I appreciate your efforts to improve the quality of service.

Should you be asked to stay at that hotel by your company or your loved ones, run. Just run ! As fast as you can ! The place is nothing but a dirty dump. Really sorry to say that and the probably self proclaimed 4 stars or the NH logo on the roof (which should guarantee some sort of quality) are nothing but a scam. Why …. You walk in and before you are “greeted” by the semi helpful counter staff the lobby was full of dirt, leaves from outside and it was not cleaned the whole day. Same the next day. Everything is pretty run down, scratches everywhere, dirty carpets in the hallways. But let me tell you about the room experience. Our “Junior Suite” had the windows open when we came in, you might ask why ? Easy ! Close the window and you smell the toilet, it was disgusting. The sofa was dirty and the bed linen and towels clearly had seen better days. Also the room overall was run down and same scratches everywhere. Asking at the reception for a clean room didńt help, they were fully booked. So in essence avoid this place and I hope the EU is not placing guests with our tax money in that dump. Should management or NH read this, feel free to reach out to a unhappy customer that liked your brand so far. However you should close the place, renovate or tear it down and build new.

The location is great, +/- 5 minute walk from the Grand Place, the room was clean and nice, even if a bit small. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a great option for a short stay as it allows you to maneuver either to the old part of town or to the shopping district, which are both within walking distance. There are plenty of options for breakfast outside the hotel if you choose the non-breakfast included option, when booking the room.

I was there for a second time, but this time the impression was very poor, the room was bad maintained, the bathroom was small and old (the worst I have been for years). And the coffee machine was broken and leaking water.

I had the displeasure of staying at this NH Hotel recently, and let me tell you, NH must stand for "New Hostel." The beds felt like rocks, the wallpaper was peeling off like a bad sunburn, and the pipes sounded like they were ready to burst at any moment. The hotel reeked of sewage, but they tried to mask it with air fresheners in the lobby that you could smell from outside that were more aggressive than a salesperson on commission. Avoid at all costs! No bar, no restaurant, the towels feel like sand paper. Not sure where the rooms are that are advertised are located but a company with 7 rooms all left early to avoid staying another min at this awful hotel.

My stay at this hotel was pretty good, mostly because of the location. It is within a block of several buses taking me to most places I wanted to go, and just a few minutes’ walk from the Grand Place. Not being right in the heart of things meant quieter evenings - excellent. The room was a good size and the bed was firm but comfy. Pillows were luxurious. The bathroom was small but adequate by Belgian standards. It smelled of sitting water sometimes unless I covered the drains. If this is an issue, drain covers would be a nice touch. The shower is 2’ x 2’ - extremely small, but again common for Belgium. My sink did not have warm water, but the bathroom was so small that I just pulled the shower head into the sink - the shower water got piping hot. I really appreciated the toiletries being offered in large pumps on the wall, rather than offering small disposable bottles. The fridge was loud, and made an even louder noise when it turned off, which woke me up. Closing the door did not help as the door was very thin. The gym is on the first floor. They advertise that there are towels, water and apples available. There are towels but no apples or water, and there were multiple days of dirty towels in the basket. (I know because I added to them each day.) The door to the gym is not labelled - you need to go through the doors that say “meeting rooms” and use a flashlight in the mornings to find and enter the gym. The gym is open at 7am but the hallway lights don’t seem to turn on until 8am. I liked the app for hotel information and ordering amenities to the room. However, I ordered a few things I needed and only received half of them; I had to ask again later at the front desk for the rest. Breakfast is ample, fresh and delicious - everything one could possibly want to eat. However, one morning I went down for breakfast and when I gave my room number they said “no”. No? “It’s not included with your room.” I explained that I have been eating breakfast every morning without incident and offered to pay. The staff member said “well I will have to speak to the front desk about that!” and did not want to allow me into the breakfast area. I said that’s fine, do what he needed to do, and got my breakfast anyway. Sure enough, at checkout I was charged 25€ per day for breakfast, which was not expected. For the price of the room I expected breakfast to be included as in most hotels of this calibre in Europe - this was an unfortunate surprise at check out. Had I known I would have grabbed breakfast each morning elsewhere - there are many cafes within a few blocks serving breakfast items. And instead of just saying no and expecting me to leave, it would have been better customer service to be asked if I would like to stay and have the charge added to my account. The other surprise was the “early riser” breakfast promised does not exist. I had an early flight and was counting on a croissant or some fruit at the hotel on the way out. The water jug was empty and there was nothing to eat anywhere. The staff did not apologize, but offered me a coffee to go. Overall I would stay here again because of the location, the nice bed and the size of the room. However, beware that many of the amenities advertised are either not available at all, or not included, and factor that into whether you think the price they are asking is reasonable.

The hotel is in a strategic position, it’s in the city centre though not in a crowded street. It’s near the railway station and the underground, which is perfect if you want to visit other towns, too. The hotel rooms are new and clean, the beds are really comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly.

Great location. 5min walk to main square and 5min to train station. Clean. 3 stars because the room we had was very small and warm. Air con unit is noisy. The shower was tiny. Only 2 lifts which were very small too, so sometimes you'd be waiting a while. Good for a short weekend break but think you'd struggle to stay here longer (in a standard room).
