The hotel is very well located, in a lively neighborhood yet a calm street. Overall well-thought design (rooms and spa are pretty) but for some reason the hotel feels anonymous, cold and a little « cheap »: spots on the walls, a door in my room that didn’t close anymore, damaged shutters, bad isolation, very noisy refrigerator in the common space, breakfast room in the basement, etc. Small details but which add up. Also: I had booked the hotel for its small spa but the sauna wasn’t working, the water was lukewarm and the whole area felt not particularly welcoming (no towels or cushions, no personnel on that floor, etc.) I was very disappointed. This being said, the hotel has great (although few) staff members: they were understanding, friendly and super helpful - moved me to another room when I complained. All in all a pretty hotel with a lot of potential which left me wondering what had gone wrong.

Very mediocre overall. Excessively noisy, the AC didn’t work so everything was super warm and bleh even though it was October. Felt understaffed and stilted. Probably the least comfy hotel we went to on our vacation. Wouldn’t go here again.

The best part about this hotel is the staff. The evening manager was lovely and kind, and so very helpful. The room is beautiful, perfectly clean and comfortable, and rather large by European standards, with a lovely street view. The lobby is large and comfortable, the breakfast is delicious. We stayed for two nights and could have stayed much longer. I will definitely book this hotel when I return to Brussels.

9Hotel Central is very well located very near the central train station and the restaurants and sights of central Brussels. Room was on the small side but very clean, modern, and comfortable. Adequate continental breakfast

Lovely hotel in a very convenient location. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Decent selection for breakfast. Appreciated the welcome drink on arrival and the room upgrade. Great that they offer free tea and coffee in reception. Near central station but still a quiet location

Well that was an underwhelming experience, had good expectations of the hotel, following the reviews on various platforms. The morning of our arrival, we recieved a half-hearted email advising of an AC failure, and they were working to fix as soon as possible, what they left out of the mail was that the failure was actually 6 weeks prior to our arrival date, there was an offer to cancel, but its quite difficult to find somewhere else at the height of the summer holidays. No apology, no discount, no free cold drinks, no extra fans or temp ac units, no effort whatsoever.

Hotel is very conveniently situated. Was able to take a bus from South Station (Midi) - 2 minute walk to hotel from bus stop - and then walk to Central Station the next day. It is also close to many sites and museums, as well as numerous restaurants. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room and bathroom are small and basic, but comfortable and more than adequate. The AC was not working, but it wasn’t too hot when I was there, so having the window open was quite pleasant during the day.

Only staying one night thankfully - AC is not working throughout the rooms (seems this has been the case since July 20th - we arrived on August 13th) and over 90 degrees outside. No offer of a refund or compensation except a subpar, overpriced breakfast. We were told to open the windows instead (in 90+degrees). We finally asked for a fan since it was unbearable - they only had one in the entire hotel. You would think that if the AC has been broken for 3 weeks+, that they would have invested in more in such a high end hotel. Room is very basic and not neat/clean. Staff who greeted us was rude and kept speaking condescendingly to us in French even though it was clear we spoke English. There is no pool here - it is a jumbo sauna. My daughter was very disappointed.

Good hotel, great staff, nice pool and super comfortable beds, but the air con doesn’t work- we tried two different rooms but the second was no better. We tried to sleep with the windows open but there is a building site next door which gets very noisy from 7am. So I would strongly recommend the hotel once the air con is fixed and the building work is finished.

Perfect location, very close to the city center. Polite staff, convenient rooms with a modern design. Hotel parking available in a short distance. Sauna and pool available at all times. Tasty breakfast. Coffee and tea available in each room. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.
