Check-in at front desk was a bit chaotic due to high number of guests arriving at the same time, but other than that overall stay was excellent. Accommodations are nice and clean, and the location was top!

The hotel looked very pretty there was only a couple of polite staff members during our stay which is such a shame a lot of the staff were just rude and couldn’t be bothered. The bar doesn’t open till 5 which was ridiculous and the first 2 nights of our stay we couldn’t even go in the bar area due to a function and them not even telling us so to not even be able to get drinks and decent service was poor. Our check in was rushed we wasn’t even told we needed our room key to enter the building passed a certain time so when trying to get in someone else staying had to tell us and they even said it took till half hour later to realise themselves. The breakfast is 29 euros yet it’s stone cold no beans which is a shame. I wouldn’t bother with breakfast here. But what I can say was room keeping were lovely our hotel room was nice and warm and comfy beds and hotels looked pretty and festive would I stay again no I would find somewhere new …

This beautiful hotel of classic style gives a warm welcome . Currently tastefully decorated for Christmas. which this early would normally put me off but actually put me in the festive mood . The staff are charming, helpful yet discreet . They make you feel important and that nothing is too much trouble . The rooms are very clean, well lit and decorated, comfortable beds , crisp bed linen, bathrooms easy to manage . The bar is gorgeous and drinks well priced . The breakfast room is on the lower ground floor . Very cleverly decorated to make you feel you are outside but protected from the elements . Buffet immaculately presented with quality produce, pretty tables with linen table cloths , uniformed staff gently replenishing and clearing . We feel restored , didn’t want to leave . Nice, big, quiet rooms. A traditional, old fashion style hotel. Good location in downtown, close to railway station, which is linked to airport. Also underground is very close. Very good breakfast including many items and drinks.

I attended a work event that was organized at the hotel, so I decided to stay there as well. My scheduling required me to take early morning flight to Brussels and fly out early the next morning. Hotel staff went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I was able to check in early and get changed before my event. I wasn’t able to go to breakfast due to my early flight, but they provided me with a takeaway bag at check out. Room was spacious with a bathtub and had a nice selection of teas.

Nice hotels, rooms comfortable. Surprised that they only supply water on the day of arrival and not on subsequent days. Also the soap in the bathroom was not refilled. Also I think when booking we need to know in advance that the restaurant is closed. This is twice this happened me with booking.com bookings.

Unsuitable for business trips as booking details can not be changed. Very inflexible. Difficult to reach by car as the hotel is currently located in a construction site. The car park is quite small, which makes parking complicated for bigger cars.
