The hotel location is very convenient. Only about ten minutes walk from the Central Railway Station and attractions. The rooms are small, but they are very comfortable and clean. The beds are super comfy. Very class service especially the front desk. The breakfast is great, it has so many options.

Used to be an old prison, small rooms, bland lobby, great location however being so close to Grand Place. I would opt for another hotel next time. It's not at the same caliber of other Rocco Forte hotels like the Balmoral. Overpriced for what we got.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in the beginning of March 2020. After reading many reviews of several different higher end hotels, we decided upon the Hotel Amigo. The Pros: The hotels is located in a great spot. Easy to walk everywhere and find after a long day or sightseeing. Turn down service was awesome - we had fresh waters, antibacterial wipes and lotions, slippers laid out for us and our toiletries were nicely organized on the bathroom counter on fresh washcloths. The gym was another plus - really nice and well equipped. The Cons: The room was tight, even though we upgraded and paid for a "larger" room. Stains on the carpet, and a sloped ceiling near the bed meant my husband hit his head every.single.time he got up. And the bed was worn - it was really two twins (typical for Europe), but they sloped and so we "slid" at night. But the service is what really ruined our stay - the staff here is so snobby. Especially the doormen. Both my husband and I noticed that they basically turned their noses up to us every time we arrived and departed. I don't know if it was because we are Americans, or we weren't dressed to the nines for their restaurant and bar, but it was super annoying and ruined part of our stay. Next time we are in Brussels, we will look elsewhere. I do hope the management reads this and makes changes so other visitors have a better experience.

Dear HeatherSanDiego_CA, It is always extremely disappointing to learn that a guest has left feeling less than completely satisfied and I am truly sorry and disappointed to read that your experience fell short of your expectations. I was very sorry to learn that you were disappointed by the size of the rooms. Part of the charm of historical hotels such as Hotel Amigo is the character and charm which is provided by the range of rooms which are on offer. All our rooms and suites have been designed individually by our London based design Team in order to create a true "home away from home". We thank you for your further constructive feedback regarding your stay and I will be sharing your comments with our entire team as this gives us an opportunity to improve our services to our valued guests. I very much hope we will have the chance to welcome you back to Hotel Amigo. Kindest regards, Karel Lemmens Quality Manager klemmens@roccofortehotels.com
