My second Aloft location. Really pleased to see the brand attributes in a new city. Very comfortable, spacious room in a very central location in Brussels. The lack of an in-house restaurant is perhaps the only negative. Helpful staff, bright, clean rooms with a lovely double shower. An in-room Nespresso machine always improves my demeanour and tips this stay from a 4 to 5 star, overall I consider it very good value. Will be back again when next in Brussels!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. All of the front desk staff was incredibly helpful. Annabelle went out of her way on several occasions to make sure that we were comfortable. The layout of the room was identical to every other Aloft hotel that we’ve spent time in. The standout feature of the room was the shower. Hot water was instant and robust. Special shoutout to whomever covered the light on the smoke detector with a bandaid. You are a hero in my eyes.

The hotel itself was ideally located and in walking distance of multiple metro stations. There are also numerous restaurants and shops nearby as well as very pretty parks.

The location of this hotel is perfect is you're at the institutions. For a weekend away it's maybe a little quiet round here. I think I'd rather be in town at the weekend. The hotel itself is nice. The staff all speak English (in fact, the girl in the desk didn't speak French at all!). The rooms are big and the beds are really comfy. All the rooms I have been in so far are really badly overlooked by the surroundings offices and apartments so make sure you close the curtains! The bathrooms are nice, although the shower cubicles leak a bit into the rest of the bathroom. Generally it's a great hotel but a property breakfast offering would be nice.

Hi Mr. Ali, Thank you for taking time to give us your feedback and for choosing our hotel for your previous stay in Brussels. We have a multicultural and multilingual front desk team and they speak different languages like English, French, Spanish, Italian, Nederlands, Portuguese...Of course these languages are not speak by each talent and I'm sorry that you didn't meet our French speaker talents up your arrival. In spite of this, I'm sure that the talent gave you a warm welcome to our hotel. We take note from your feedback and the technical issue has been reported to our specific department in order to make sure that this will not happen again. Thank you again for your feedback as it's very important to us to improve our service and make our guests experience a memorable stay. Best regards, Anabela Esteves Front Office Manager

I visited several time the hotel and I was planning to stay there this month too.
But, virus break put me in self - isolation, as just returned from a zone with high risk of contamination.
Hence, being forced to stay home, I asked for a refund due to force majeure!
Being a planned trip in several cities, I asked all hotels along my to-be trip; all but Aloft returned payment or gave me a voucher for 2020 ( even smarter approach ).
Aloft, no! What force majeure? You booked it non refundable and we need your money - even they risk the health of other guests!
I was tempted to go, get my room, have my breakfast, stay in lobby a while with other guests and receptionists and then call the health authorities to quarantine all hotel.
But my flight was cancelled too...

The place is very nice with very good and spacious rooms, kids and family friendly.
Close to city center and is nice if you want to wander around the city.
The parking costs 25EUR a day, has a single electrical charger and is very tight.
I was surprised that if we book for the whole group through a single person we can’t have the rooms under separate names, which basically is normal in so many other hotels especially Marriott, this meant that only the one who booked can redeem the points for all the rooms, the receptionist was almost too rude to end the conversation when I asked on why is that and how awkward it is. Actually the lady receptionists were much nicer overall and our whole group didn’t approach the reception when he was the one free. I think this guy should be trained on how to speak to guests, he’s the main reason for a lower rating.

Stayed at Aloft during visit to Brussels to visit friends upon the end of quarantine rules. The manager learned that I was celebrating a significant birthday on this trip and arranged for an upgraded room and snacks to be delivered to the room. Very clean, spacious room, convenient to the EU block and public transport. Very good value!

I stayed at Aloft on two occassions, in July and September 2019 for a business trip. The location of the hotel is perfect, everything is a walking distance away - metro and train station, restaurants and cafes, the EU institutions.
The hotel itself is neat and clean, with a nice breakfast. The rooms are nice and spacious, with good amenities. The sound insulation is great and no noise can be heard from the outside, which is perfect for a good night's sleep or if you need to work.
There were three things I did not like - the bed and pillows are quite soft, the bathroom sink is placed in the room (not in the same area as the shower and the toilet), and the hotel has a very distinct minty air freshener aroma that I do not prefer, but all of those things are a matter of personal preference.
Other than that, everything was nice, the hotel has a cute bar with a nice terrace, the staff is helpful.
Would recommend :)

Aloft Brussels Schuman is not in the center of Brussels, but in the European area, very close to many European institutions such as the European Parliament and the House of European History (both places are must sees when visiting Brussels). It is also walking distance from Autoworld and many parks (Parc Leopold, Parc du Cinquantenaire). Some metro stations are close to visit the city center.
I like Aloft hotels because they are so cool, comfortable, and very convenient.
Aloft hotels are not luxury hotels, but I would say they are affordable W hotels.
Breakfast was good, with a good choice.
If you don't want to go to a restaurant after a long day, the choice of ready to eat food (Refuel as Aloft say) was very decent.
The staff was very kind.
Overall it was a very nice stay at Aloft Brussels.

Stayed at this property between w1 and w2 from Tomorrowland to recharge batteries and have some confortable beds to sleep on.

The hotel is modern and nice, clean with spacious rooms, and thats about it.

I tried to arrange transportation from boom to the hotel, only to be told that we had to get there on our own. we had to call our previous hotel Holidayy in express and they booked it right away, even though we were going to a different property.

Staff was ok, no pain, no glory. we advised them about our disconfort regarding this situation, and were basically ignored.

as a corporate travel manager I will not recomend this stay to my company.

besides that the staff was pretty ok, no pain no glory.

I have stayed a few times at the Aloft on business in the area and always enjoy the nice ambience and comfortable rooms. The lobby area is very comfortable and warm. Nice bar nice bartender. Hotel can be a little pricey at times. Can double in price in the space of a few days. Overall recommended!

How far from and what type of transportation to the airport? Thank you.
Answer from Anabela E
Hi Maria, Our hotel, aloft Brussels Schuman, is located in the European square. From the airport, you have a Train that brings you at Schuman Station that takes about 15 to 20m and then 5m walking until our hotel, it cost around 9€ each travel. You also have an express bus number 12 that takes a little bit longer around 30m, it depends always on traffic and it costs 4.50€ if you buy it in advance, you have ticket machines at the station or 6€ if you buy it directly in the bus to the driver. Hope that I could help you and look forward to see you with us at aloft. Best regards, Anabela Esteves Front Office Manager
