Detailed Reviews
The location is very convenient for tourists visiting Brussels. We had a large, very comfortable "Pillows Suite" with a glimpse of Sts. Michael and Gudula visible. The room was quiet at night, but jack hammering, garbage collection, sirens, etc. generally started between 7 and 8 am. The breakfast buffet is adequate, with room to sit socially distant, but we would probably recommend looking breakfasting elsewhere when the weather is better, given the price. The staff was friendly, helpful, and generally wore masks. We would stay here again.

We recently spent a couple nights in Brussels and very much enjoyed our stay at Pillows City Hotel. This is modern, well furnished and comfortable property along Parochiaanstraat, just a few minutes walk from Brussels Central Station.
Reservation was made through booking.com where we found the lowest rates on the day. Booking confirmation received by email instantly. We were able to check in a couple hours early upon arrival which was very nice. Front desk were very helpful, assisted with arranging early morning taxi to the airport at the end of our trip and were just generally pleasant when we interacted with them.
Property location is very good if you want to be close to Central Station and within walking distance to the main sightseeing areas around historic centre of Brussels. Quite a few restaurants and bars not far away. They have a restaurant at the hotel as well as a reading room as well.
Our room was spacious, very nicely furnished. There was plenty of closet and drawer space, sizeable work area, in-room safe, fridge, espresso machine, nice bathroom, great shower water pressure, flat screen TV, good heating, lighting, wifi and importantly a very comfortable bed, allowing much needed rest.
Overall, we liked the hotel location and staff and were very happy with our room at Pillows City Hotel. This was a great stay and place we'd be glad to return to during futures trips to Brussels.

This property is right by the train station and an easy walk to the square, restaurants and shopping. Rooms are small but otherwise very nice, quiet and modern. My favorite perk was a bag with clean towels, toiletries and waters hanging on our door when we returned daily. We use the “ do not disturb “ sign as we don’t need our room cleaned, just need refreshed and clean towels.

We stayed at this hotel late November/early December as we were visiting the Christmas markets in Brussels. It is ideally situated a 5-10 minute walk from main market square and easy walking distance of all the Christmas market events. It is also only 500 m from Central Station. The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere with friendly, professional staff. Our room was quiet and comfortable with an amazing shower! Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice which included a hot selection - choices varied each day. Were we ever to visit Brussels again, we would certainly choose Pillows.

Good hotel in the center of Brussels. The staff is friendly and friendly. I was a bit afraid for street noise although no problem at all. The room is clean with a big bathroom. The water pressure could be higher. We had a Nespresso coffee machine in the room with "Nespresso" cups, not the "cheap" stuff. The breakfast was excellent with excellent quality food. It was a very positive experience. One small details places in the parking garage are limited and there is no reservation possible. Nevertheless there are plenty of public parking garages in the vicinity of the hotel.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in November. Paid for upgrade to a larger room and it was worth the extra cost, as the room was much more spacious. Staff really friendly and helpful. We arrived very early due to a red-eye flight and we were given a cup of coffee while we waited 15 minutes for the room. 5 minute walk from Central Station (train straight from the airport) and within 10 minutes walk to the Grand-Place and Bozar. Would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Many thanks...

I try to do a great deal of research before booking a place to stay. This was our 2nd time in Brussels and we chose not to stay at the previous hotel we were at. I took a chance on Pillows and was so pleased I did. Yes, there was some construction going on near the hotel but other than walking around it I didn't find it a problem. The rooms are large (we did have a small issue with the first room we were given but a change was made and all worked out). I found the rooms to be clean, spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. As we like to use Brussels to visit other areas (Brughes, Dinant and even Luxemburg), the location was truly ideal - an easy 6 minute walk to the station but set on a quiet side street which was ideal. I'm not sure if the breakfast price when booked with the room is less than the breakfast price when added, but the hotel prices seemed in line or better than other choices we had. The breakfast itself was quite good but if booked separately will be a little higher. I suggest you make sure before you book that you will be able to do breakfast and not have to leave for the airport or something else but the breakfast starts early so it typically shouldn't be an issue. I liked the coffee machine with all the offerings as well as the chocolate pops to put in milk. All the breads and cheeses and items were plentiful. I also like the fact that Pillows isn't a chain but a small group and the hotels do not look alike. They are careful to pick locations that have some interest and I didn't feel like I was in a chain hotel which I liked. The staff was helpful and if we come back to Brussels I would definitely stay here. They are currently only located in The Netherlands and Belgium so still a small hotel grouping.

We were nervous at first to book due to the construction in the area but it checked most of our needs when looking for price, location and in hotel offerings.
We received an email after booking explaining the construction times and they offered ear plugs in the room. In the morning you did hear construction but I was able to sleep through.
We had a family room which was fantastic! Your own little hallway connected two rooms gave enough space for our family of 4 to spread out. Room 507 was big and lovely. Bar on premises the bartender was very nice even with language barrier he provided us books to look at with area restaurants and shops and gave my husband a book on the liquor that was in his beverage. House keeping was quick to bring an iron, front desk staff was friendly. On a nice little side street which was great to sit and watch the hustle.

This is a very nice hotel, stylish, centrally located in Brussels, a couple of minutes walk from the Central Station & Grand Place, but on a side street so it’s not too noisy.
Staff at the reception and welcoming and professional, we loved the welcome drink at the bar!
Our room was comfortable and clean with luxury touches such as the bathrobes & slippers.
I have stayed here a few times for work in the past but this time was for leisure and it has always been one of my preferred hotels in Brussels.
I would also say that I booked the hotel room for a visit in 2020, but of course Covid intervened, the booking at the time was ‘non refundable’ so I very much appreciated the flexibility that was offered to delay the booking for 2 years.

I chose to stay at this hotel at the end of March for 3 nights with a friend.
It was in the perfect location to get around the city and we looked forward to exploring Brussels.
We booked a grand luxury twin room and when we arrived, we were very impressed with it.
It was extremely clean, spacious and included a coffee/tea maker with minibar and hairdryer - there were even some Belgian chocolates left on the bed to welcome us which was a lovely touch.
The bathroom was well thought out and stocked with some nice toiletries but we did find that the smaller shower head had quite low pressure with each change of mode. The water always came out softly no matter the time of day but we were still able to enjoy a hot shower which was the most important thing.
We loved the choice of pillows available in the booklet in the room and I was able to ask for some soft down pillows which were truly sumptuous to sleep on.
The staff here were very friendly and helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. When there was a bit of a mix up checking in - we were charged an additional €100 opposed to the rate that we booked, it was rectified immediately and we were refunded.
The only slight feedback we would give was at breakfast - which we took on our last morning. The choice was vast and fresh with cereals, coffee, fruit, pastries, bread, cheese, meats, hot food and fresh honeycomb but at 9:30 when the mushrooms were finished and I asked a member of the kitchen when more would be coming out, I was told that there there would be none. This was quite disappointing for a paid breakfast.
On our last evening we found the time to enjoy some drinks in the lounge which was a lovely way to finish our trip.
All in all, this is a very nice hotel and I would highly recommend staying here when in Brussels.

You can get a train from the airport to Brussels Central station, then it’s a couple of hundred metres walk on reasonably flat/slight up hill roads. Quite straightforward.
Train tickets in Belgium are the same price whether bought on the day or in advance, and you can get on any train - no need to buy a particular time.
My room was clean and modern. I do believe they have been recently renovated . I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there and the location is perfect .
Dear, there is a convenient way from the airport to our hotel : the train. Take the train at the station underneath the airport and you arrive 20 minutes later at the Brussels Train Station. Then just walk five minutes and you are here. It is cheap (about 9€) and it runs every 15 minutes. It is also easy to use the taxi but it will be more expensive. Best regards.
