I chose this for location and it was fine, down an alley but not hard to find. Just one night so I gave it a try, the front desk was basically the bar at what looked like a pub. I did not get any Art Deco rooms up a set of stairs that is mentioned here. I was walked across...

This great hotel in the centre of Brussels is a real treat. The reception area put's you some 80 to 90 years back in time and most of it is beautifully looked after to be able to offer the same atmosphere as back then. Rooms are clean, staff is very friendly and related to it's location, with easy walking distance...

This hotel and bar looks like it has been there for ever, but it's less than ten years ago that this building was listed and renovated. The Taverne downstairs is beautiful and the rooms upstairs are said to be interesting as well (and with an interesting history!). I've always stayed in a newer building across the road, where there are...

Hotel no lift and no airconditions. Very narrow steps. Very good location just 5 minutes to main city square. Big, nice and clean room with comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Near garage about 15 euros per day.

Excellent location with friendly & helpful staff. Placed between 2 main stations (Nord & Centralle) walkable distance but De Brouker Metro station is accessible from both and is then a very short walk. Would definitely stay here again.

This is an old hotel with a history, but nicely modernised. We had 2 rooms, a superior double, and a triple on the top floor, which was more of an attic room. The double was a fairly generic hotel room, clean, comfortable, etc. The triple was in the rooftop and as such a unique layout! Other than banging a few heads...

Travelling as a couple, we were only visiting Brussels for two nights and decided to book hotel Esperance based on previous reviews-it was affordable and appeared to be in a good location. We booked the standard double room however when we checked in we were given the keys to an executive suite across the street (I believe this was because...

Hotel is very central, 10 minute walk to the Grand Place, to Central Stations and literally 2 minute walk to a shopping strip! Rooms are clean, very modern and European style. Security was great! There are no elevators nor air conditioning, so beware of walking lots of steps if you have luggage! The hotel is a block away from a night...

First the positives: 1. Location - Definitely a big plus, this hotel is located within a block of the shopping mecca of Rue Nueve, about 15 minutes walk from Brussel Centraal, 10 minutes from Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula, and 10 minutes from Grand Place. Rogier and De Brouckère metro stops are close by. 2. The hotel has...
