First off, not sure why TripAdvisor has this listed as LeVaudeville-Chambres d'Hotes, while Booking.com has it as B&B Vaudeville. It's the same place and caused me much confusion when trying to get a sense of the place. With that out of the way, as others have noted, this is not a hotel in the traditional sense. It's more like an AirBnB mixed with Bed and Breakfast. So if you prefer a front desk and all the basic amenities of a hotel, this place is not for you. The room I stayed in was Victor Hugo. It was a pretty big suite with a tub in the bathroom which I made use of having bubble baths :) Half the lights were working and every day, maybe a new light would start to work, I didn't bother to complain because I only used the room to sleep in, not live in. Granted, if the lights didn't work in the bathroom, I would have complained. But no issues there. The floors were wooden and squeaked in certain spots. Again, not that big of a deal. The suite had a fridge and each day they would refill it with water, beer, and soda. The breakfast was served on the 2nd floor and it was 1 long table where you ate with other guests. It didn't feel too awkward. There were coffee machines with hot water for tea, cold cereal, cold cuts, and croissants. If you wanted eggs, you have to cook it yourself on the stove. As for finding the place, it was easy to find (if you've read all the reviews here) It's the door under the number 15, located to the left of the Theatre Du Vaudeville. You need to be in contact with the owners before arriving to schedule a check-in time. They then let you in and explain some of the nuances. You get 2 keys. 1 to open the front 2 doors, and 1 to open your room. You need to use a special code to operate the elevator, going to your floor or the 2nd floor, but just press 0 when leaving the place. The place itself is located within the Galeries Royales Saint Hubert, which has a bunch of chocolate shops, cafes, and some clothing stores. There is a Sightseeing and Tour office when you exit the building, to your right. It's literally a few feet away. So that was pretty convenient. The Grand Place is also close by. It's down the street. 2-5min walk. If location matters to you and you just need a place to stay, this is a great option. However, if you're more into the hotel experience, look elsewhere.

Our stay in the Vaudeville was something to remember. Comfortable bed in a lovely room. Rain shower in a large bathroom was good as well. The breakfast in the morning alone was worth the visit. Fresh croissants, cheeses, ham and jams. It can be a bit tricky to find but just walk into the arcade and look for the big green door next to the Vaudeville signs. The Grand Place underground parking is just around the corner.

This was the worst hotel / B & B experience I have ever had from all places I have visited. There was no one at reception. When I got to the room, there was a foul smell coming from the bathroom but because there was no staff around I couldn't do much. The mobile numbers left at reception of the owners, when I contacted them by text - I did not receive one reply back from either of them (Thierry / Christophe). There was no iron in my room, however one magically showed up the next morning. The minibar was included in the price, so we decided to have a soft drink on the evening of arrival. My husband had one gulp & he spat it out. He checked the date of expiry and it was 31 Jan 2018. We check the other soft drinks and out of 5 only 1 was in date. When we saw the only member of staff we encountered in our trip, the next morning (who was very stand-offish and unfriendly and could barely understand us - as we spoke in English) and told her about the out of date drinks, she just shrugged her shoulders, took the bottle and off she went. Not at all bothered. The breakfast was average. We came midweek and there was a small continental range of choice. We left on Saturday and by then there were more guests and a greater option of breakfast items to choose from, which is unfair to midweek travellers. DO NOT BOTHER BOOKING THIS B & B AS APART FROM LOCATION NOTHING ELSE WAS ON PAR FOR ME OR MY FAMILY. IT WAS A DISAPPOINTING CHOICE OF VENUE.

Really nice rooms. The location is super safe and it’s a must place for 2-3 days in Brussels. It is located in the Gallerie de la Reine. Nice decorated rooms and feels more comfy than a usual hotel. I will visit it again for sure.

Stunning accommodation in Galleria De la Reine in central Brussels. A Short stroll to The Grand Place and Gare Centrale. The rooms are beautifully furnished with views of the gallery below. Breakfast was fresh with loads of fruits, pastries and bread. The beds are very comfortable and despite the central location in the shopping mall we weren’t bothered by noise at night and slept very well. It would be 5 star accommodation except for the fact that there is no front desk and the only staff member we encountered in person ( the cleaner) was extremely rude to us. I docked one star from my review for this reason Tip: The building can be tricky to find as there’s no sign outside/ it’s located in the shopping mall between Belgique Gourmande and Theatre Vaudeville
