This hotel was a great value for what you get. A nice room with a full bath and very clean. There are little pleasantries like juice, waffles and brownies in the lobby and complimentary WIFI. You are a 5 minute walk from the museum and there are actually three different restaurants next to this hotel and restaurant. They all open...

This is really the only place to stay if you are visiting the Battle of Waterloo. It is right on the battlefield, within walking distance of the major sites to visit and easy driving distance to the outlying places of interest, the places where the battles the day before occurred, and very close to the town of Waterloo itself. There...

The hotel is situated on the site of the British and allied army's positions on the day of the battle of Warterloo in 1815. So for me and my friends who were visiting the museum and walking the battlefield it was perfect. The hotel is more of a lodge experience as it has not got a bar or any puplic...

This hotel is in THE perfect location to explore the battlefield. Reception was very warm and welcoming and the rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is continental and good value. Would definitely visit again.

Excellent location, restaurant lovely and food good. Staff very helpful, going the extra mile to print flight boarding passes. Would have liked to have had tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but staff did offer to make one if we wanted.

Nice large car park incredible location to battlefield site which is a big must do! Got a free upgrade to a suite the condition of the bathroom wasn't great. Bed was excellent and room was large. The Restaurant is run independently of the hotel even though it's in the same building. Food was good. The hotel staff seemed to keep...

As has been said before, the location of this hotel is great, although our sat nav struggled to get us there, arriving at several inaccessible roads first. It is probably best to consult an old fashioned map first to avoid this problem. Staff are very friendly, evening meal good and breakfast excellent. The room could have had been a little...

I don't think that you can sleep much closer to the battlefield without facing your Waterloo. 😊 1815 is a nice hotel and I had the joy to stay in the Wellington suite. Only downside is that the room doesn't have a real window overlooking the fields of Waterloo, only a small porthole in the sitting room. Must have something...

This is the nearest hotel to the very busy Waterloo battlefield sites, it has great grounds and location, it should thrive, sadly it's all wrong. The front of the hotel, where you'd normally expect a reception, maybe bar and eating area, is a separate restaurant. Strangely closed during a hot August weekend, and a bank holiday? Therefore entry to the...

We went as a family half term trip to Waterloo to visit the battlefield. Le Hotel 1815 overlooked the actual battlefield (which is still just a field!). The hotel is comfortable and adequate and within walking distance of the museum of the Battle of Waterloo. During our visit there was redecorating going on, which was needed badly. Somehow you forgive...
