Visited for 2 nights. Room was large with comfortable bed and reasonable bath and shower room. Adequate storage. Old fashioned décor and ancient TV (not used) but clean and tidy. Breakfast a bit Spartan, almost felt guilty having a second croissant! Not much choice but provided enough sustenance until lunchtime. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Place has not been updated in ages and it shows. Furniture is old. Bathroom fixtures fell like they'll fall off the wall when you use them. Shower curtain lets so much water through that the bathroom turns into a swmming pool. There are black fungus spots in the caulking around the tub; I felt like offering them some bleach, which... Quiet night in a comfortable room. The owner was pleasant and helpful despite our English-only language skills. It does have a lift and a pleasant garden. The bar has a great selection of Belgium beers! The room was simple, but clean and the bed was comfortable. Exactly what we needed on this trip - which was mostly business. The hotel... More

I know this hotel since many years and no updates have been done. In order to continue to attract customers the hotel management should review some of the parts that are getting old. The breakfast is simple but has fantastic croissants.

We needed a place for a night in Waterloo and our guidebook listed this small hotel in a residential neighbourhood. The manager was rather dour in manner, but pleasant enough. Our room was labelled 37 but oddly on what the lift recognised as floor 2. It was adequately appointed, quiet and the beds comfortable. There was convenient parking behind the... More

Wasn't planned. But riding through the Ardennes we discovered a deluge and got soaked. So camping was out. Garmin sent us straight here. Checked in. And parked the bikes in the large empty carpark at the rear. The decor though out is 1970/80's . That's not an issue. After dumping all my gear in the room. I made my way... More

Do not visit this hotel. We were given a price on arrival and on leaving were charged over double. The person who arranged the deal could not be found and the person we were dealing with could not speak english. The 8 euro breakfast is a joke. The rooms are jaded and dull. There is no air con. Paid twice... More

The hotel is in a very quiet residential area. We had a big airy room with its own little entrance lobby, a good bathroom with a proper shower and a view of the garden. B&B only but some very good restaurants within walking distance. We found it to be a bit too far to walk to the centre of town... More

We stayed 1 night here while visiting Waterloo, we were met on arrival by an elderly gentleman we were given the keys and off we went, the decor is from the 70's80's era, pinks and oranges, it looked in need of modernisation. The rooms were spacious but again in need of a refurb. Once settled we went downstairs for a... More

Dated, dated, dated! Room (on the top floor) was sparse, unwelcoming and characterless - lino floor tiles, a tiny ancient television, thin blanket on bed rather than duvet. Horrible pillows. Lock on the door felt flimsy and not very secure. Breakfast was good, but that is the only good point. This hotel is in desperate need of modernisation.
