We arrived at the hotel and received a beverage during the friendly check-in. We got an upgrade because of our honeymoon. There was a message for us written on the mirror: "enjoy your honeymoon. The room was nice and clean, the bed was huge. In the bathroom shampoo, conditioner and soap were available. Nice that we could listen to Dutch radio and watch Dutch tv in our room. Breakfast (8-12h) was luxurious (with a glass of Cava available)! The staff was friendly. The location of the hotel was perfect, right next to the Central Station.
Despite some reviews I had a good experience here. Room was fine and breakfast was easily served. I should say that the incheck and outcheck facilities (do it yourself) weren't user friendly. I had help from the Lindner staff, which was fine.
The reception is not focused to provide the best services to the customer they are looking for how they can charge more the customers. The hotel accommodation is very nice but the reception is the worst one that I receive in the lasted years.
Beautiful room with a great shower. Sexy lobby with a fun vibe. Located next to the train station and lots of diamond stores. Many good choices for restaurants within walking distance. Parking is a bit tricky. When the GPS is taking you to the hotel, go down the center ramp before your GPS trip ends! Otherwise, you need to go around the block and, with traffic, that can take a bit of time and patience.
The hotel accommodation is good but the employees very bad. No customer service at all. I have a send an email to the hotel before we arrived, nobody responded. Afterwards we left a stuffed animal from our daughter (3 years old!). I have send an email and called but again nobody took the decency to respond. Very disappointed will not book again and will not refer.
The hotel has a very good location, walking distance from Antwerpen Central railway station. The staff is friendly, but the bar works very slowly. The rooms are convenient and clean. Sometimes you have to order a simple hanger or soap twice or three times to get it.
I was a part of an international event. By my own mistake I booked for 7 nights from 20 th May to 27th May. However I had to travel back on the 26 th May. When I realized my mistake while cheking in I tried to explain to 3 different staff including the event managers n the hotel manager. The answer was rule is rule and they can’t cancel one night from my original booking while claiming that the hotel is fully booked. Anyone can make a mistake and all I was asking for a night cancellation after spending 6 nights with them. I felt it was care a hang and take it leave it attitude. Robbery.
Checked in the Thursday weekend and arrrived around check in time for a seamless experience but the hotel lobby was packed with check in customers. We went to sit at the bar to wait - better than queue - as there were only 2 receptionists who really didnt manage expectations. Sitting at the bar, bartender got confused and wanted to finish her shift. We had to wave and ask for service. Asking for a bite - a cold platter - twice the wrong platter were served saying a new chef was in the kitchen. Having changed 3 bartenders further, the second apologised and went to get our platter (1 hour later). We were super annoyed with the service that nobody seemed to take charge in anything and the staff dont know hoe to take responsibility. (Saying from someone working in the field). Why was there no manager around for check in - we had to wait 1.5 hrs. Why did the bar staff not care, could not answer simple questions like parking and when the receptionist finally helped us - seeing we had twice the wrong platter - did nothing to comfort us. Overall - terrible hospitality service. Robotic and just disappointing. Too bad because a lot has been invested into making the lobby / bar work and create an atmosphere. I will not come here again!…
Very proper and nice hotel. Fitness and sauna are splendid. A big improvement would be to speed up the check-in procedure. It took ridiculously long to check in (20 min) while there were just 5 or 6 people ahead of me (with two employees)
We have stayed here before, the location is most amazing coming from London on the Eurostar you step out in Antwerp and the hotel is right there. Lovely staff! The lobby is very modern and inviting, very clean room and bathroom. We booked a business room but I must say the room is exactly the same as an economy only you have a nicer view which didn't really make much of a difference to us so we would probably book an Economy next time.
