I love this place. I stay here often and it is just exquisite! Sheer relaxation and the breakfast is fantastic for having to make such a large amount of guests to cater for. The bar staff are great for chit chat and the receptionists are very helpful.
The room was really good and the hotel in general really beautiful and clean. The only problem was at the reception during the check in, where we were waiting for one hour for them to check in only 2 other costumers. The que behind us was getting bigger and bigger and the receptionists didn't seem to care. There were three people at the desk and only 1 was doing the check ins. After we finally arrived at the desk, no one was talking to us for 10 minutes not even looking at us. After we finally checked in (after I asked to do) they told us that the room will be ready in 15 minutes. At the site it says that we can do check in from 14:00 and the time was already 16:00... Other people were waiting there for 2 hours and they still didn't have a room. They never apologized and they were acting like we weren't even there. …
For the most part the hotel is nice enough, especially for the price. Location is about 10 mins walk from a train station, which is one stop away from Antwerp Central. The staff at check in are friendly and professional. The big cons for us were these two situations; 1) When we got to our room and started settling down, I spotted underwear (previous occupants') which had found its way under one of the furniture in the room. It turned out to be clean but we informed reception on our way out into the city and they quickly apologised and had someone sent to our room to clear that out. - Cleaners could do a better job giving one last check when cleaning rooms between occupants, though I do understand that the days we were there was when the hotel was fully booked. But still. 2) That night, around 11.30pm when we were in our room with the window shut, we started hearing people shouting like hooligans from outside on the street -- so we shouted at them from our room o keep quiet as it was late and shut the window again. Then we started hearing these guys (4 or 5 of them) shout at us to go down and fight them (?) and asking us what our room number was (??). We also saw them trying to count the floors and windows. Obviously we didn't tell them, but we informed reception. About an hour later, there was VERY loud banging on our door and shouting for us to come out, once again we called reception and after a while the shouts stopped. We didn't feel very safe even to go out to the smoking area, so we called reception for some kind of help or assurance (and later on went down to talk to the person at reception at the time (the night reception, named Wim) to which we were told that; - Ppl shouting at us from the street below for our room number to go down to fight, & the people banging on our door to come out and fight was *apparently* not the same ppl. - Ppl banging on our door, was apparently a drunkard banging on everyone's door, and may not even have been a customer of theirs (which is extremely unlikely). - That we shouldn't have shouted back at them to keep quiet, because apparently it was fine to be shouting on the street directly outside the hotel up till 2am. The entire time he didn't apologise for the disturbance or reassure us even once that we would be safe - only said that they could help to call the police if something happened. -- Basically the night reception was really bad, and I was honestly worried for our safety that first night. Wasn't great.…
The fresh renovated room had a nice bathroom, a great shower! But the beds has been to small, so I fall two times out of the bed (80x200cm). We stayed in this hotel during 'DFB Pokal Final' and couldnt see it beacause there hasn't been german TV and the Wifi wasn't as good as I hoped. The highway directly next to the hotel was very noisy, also with closed window. But the Breakfast was very nice, I loved the pancake-machine!
The place has clean, rooms, kind and friendly service staffs located near the city centre in the city of Brussels in Belgium. We had our breakfast that comes with the booking here and has a nice spread of cheese, bread, cornflakes both plain and chocolate, omelette, cut fruits.
So I stayed here as a base for Reverze 2020. Check in was very smooth. The staff were very accommodating and despite the key system being down temporarily they handled the situation perfectly. The room I had was very spacious! Plenty of space to store my stuff for the 2 nights. It was also very clean and bright. I also loved the kettle supplied with some coffee, tea, biscuits, milk and sugar with some disposable cups, that was a nice gesture! The room also comes with USB ports for your phone / tablet which is great if you forget your plug or adapter! The bathroom was great. I loved the wide shower head and hot water was instantly available. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and for what I payed (around 115 for 2 nights) I would certainly love to return again as my base for Reverze next year! …
Friendly and efficient staff, pleasant lounge area and bar, good breakfast, clean and comfortable room. All combined, this hotel is certainly good value for money despite being a bit far from the city centre.
As a traveller I'd been staying in many hotels and gave reviews of them. This is the first time I did the different kind of review, to the point. Last saturday we stayed a night in this hotel. Good ones : good location, enough parking place, friendly staff, water cooker in the room, good breakfast, clean room. And the bad ones: No AC and no fan; small bed and room; the shower is too open so that after having shower we got a wet floor and the shower head couldn't detached from the holder; the receptionist was not behind the desk all the time as two guests did push the bell twice an no one came helping them; outside on the corner of the hotel there was a lot of garbage and also at the back side of the hotel, and... this is the worst what happened to me: one pillow ( compact thick sponge) caused me an allergy. This is the first time in my life got this allergy. Red spots on my whole neck and both arms, very itchy. Visited the doctor today and definitely I got it from the pillow. I did tell the staff about it in the morning and she saw it.…
The location of the hotel might indeed be appreciated by some as it is found not in the center, but in the more quieter outskirts of the city. Staff was very professional and room, with bathroom, were perfectly in order. We as three people booked a single room containing three beds for one night. This is maybe the only downside=three beds do fit in the room, but space for three people is limited. If you have luggage with you it is tough to make your way. Price is correct for the offer
We were with a group of friends in this hotel and it was super! Everything was there upon arrival, keys/information and even an personal note from the general manager welcoming us. There was a 24h reception who was really helpfull with arranging taxi’s for us info Antwerpen. Clean rooms, nice shower and clean and comfi beds. The breakfast in one word: amazing. Fresh orange juice, good quality coffee, fresh eggs and bread and even fresh pastries. If I’m ever back in Antwerpen I’ll defeniteley come back at the Tulip Inn. I’d also recommend this place to everyone who wants to go to Antwerpen. It’s location is super and even for that price... great experience overall!
