This hotel is well located to visit all Antwerp. It is close to the public transportation connections. The staff are really helpful for any questions you might have about the city. My room was very comfortable. Coffee and water are available in the room. Parking is easy at the Antwerp shopping parking lot right next to the hotel. Currently the parking fee costs 19.20 EUR per day.
The room has everything you may need to do your stay pleasant, the staff is more than helpful, for sure you will come back to enjoy your self.breakfast fresh and plenty with all the goodies also restaurant is is more than satisfying well worth the money
Upon check-in I was told I had to take the lift to the 5th floor and walk up as there's no lift to the 6th. Not nice but acceptable. Turns out there was no heating on the whole floor either. Upon inquiring, I was told that that was the reason they had put some dyson heater in the room and that that was the same as the central heater. Not quite, both in terms of noise and performance. No apology. No offer to compensate by offering something such as breakfast instead. Breakfast which was average anyway. Facilities were very poor and I would say this is a 3 star hotel, not 4.
We stayed here for my birthday in October 2018. We stayed 4 nights and were in the Queen Room. The room was superb bar a couple of minor issues, the walls were scruffy in places and the light fitting in the shower was hanging down. However, the storage space was great, including a nice sitting area and minibar fridge. The TV was good and the bed was really comfortable. The walk in shower was majestic and finished of the room perfectly. The hotel bar was brilliant, it was perfect for having a couple of cosy drinks before we went out. Highly recommended this hotel also because the location was good, despite a lot of construction works going on in the surrounding area.
Hotel is centrally located just a few minutes from the trainstation and also nice and close to the Meir shopping street. Many nice restaurants in the area also for breakfast, cheaper than in the hotel. A very unfriendly lady did out checkin. We asked for a quiet room reply "we don't have quiet rooms in this hotel the hotel is on a road" I explain that it could be that there are rooms on two sides of the hotel inside and on the road side here we didn't even get a reply on. My partner made a joke that we would like a room with jaccuzi on this we only got a very angry look. No warm welcome. Bad start from our weeknd holiday. Our room was two rooms off the elevator opposite the houskeeping workhouse. It was quite quiet in January 2020, but not bothered by traffic, beacause the road in front off te hotel was still closed. Room clean nice e beds nice large TV also a table with two chairs fridge and a kettle safe…
We just returned from a weekend stay at this hotel during which we had a number of issues with our hotel room. I’m sorry to say that other than ‘I’m sorry, I’ll pass it on to the manager’ nothing was done to correct the problems. -the room, in particular the bathroom, was filthy (see attached photos for black mold and stains on the walls) -the windows were taped shut (again see photos) and the room was warm and uncomfortable, in addition the air conditioning clicked off after 2 minutes so the room remained uncomfortably warm all night -there was a loud whistling noise coming from the bathroom during the entire visit And the straw that broke the camel’s back and sent me to the front desk to make a complaint was no hot water for bathing (which the front desk was aware of and again sorry). The hotel was listed as a 4 start hotel and all I can say is that certainly was NOT our experience. If we did not have plans in Antwerp Sunday morning, we would have left.…
Stayed in this hotel for two nights when visiting Antwerp. I found the hotel to be perfect, in a good location, good value, comfortable and clean. The staff were also very friendly and helpful and I had a great stay. Overall 5/5 would definitely recommend.
I traveled to Antwerp alone after attending a conference in a neighboring country. I am so glad I made this choice for vacationing. I had intended to stay at a different hotel until I discovered that it lacked an elevator. At the last minute, I changed my reservations to the Quality Hotel. I found it to be a perfect location - between the train station and the diamond district, and the sights to visit in Antwerp. The staff were attentive and answered any and all my questions. My room was large and I was comfortable in it and the hotel in general. I would stay here again if I get the opportunity to return to Antwerp.
I was here for business, the hotel is very centrally located at the corner of the University area close to the shopping street Meir and Central Station. Breakfast is good, staff is helpful and friendly and the rooms are well maintained and cosy. I can strongly recommend this hotel for business or for leisure. Don't miss the cosy 'Ossenmarkt' just around the corner, close to the several University buildings. Great bars here and the most brilliant sandwichbar "Oliver's" (next to the supermarket, just before entering the Ossenmarkt) that you really need to visit for lunch when here.
Hotel located close to both train station, Mier, Grand Place and Churches. Rooms are OK and the staff is friendly. I walked everywhere I wanted to go in Antwerp. I would recommend to ask for a room high up.
