We stayed in the apartment and were so in love with the place. The owner has seriously good taste and it's like entering a magical gothicy boudoir. You honestly could spend the day walking around and discovering something new each and every time. Our bathroom was enormous and very romantic. The place is super quiet - and breakfast is to... We stayed for one night at this lovely bed & breakfast in the heart of the Jewish quarter in Antwerp. Located just outside the old city center it provided just what we needed. Stunning interiors and a great breakfast in a 'serre' overlooking the garden. The owners are very friendly and keen to help you find what you need in... More

This boutique hotel style B&B is a gem of a find. Very unique in approach all the way around. Unlike most B&B's, I felt pleasantly, independent and autonomous; both welcomed and cozy. Rooms are grand scale, fabulously styled with great pieces of furniture and design items. Styling is sparse, which reads as extremely modern and authentic to origin, providing ample... More

When I first saw pictures online from Boulevard Leopold I knew I needed to stay there when going to Antwerp. I rarely saw a hotel that beautiful and lovingly decorated and those pictures couldn't even keep up with what I saw when I arrived. Martin, the owner of Boulevard Leopold, warmly welcomed and provided me with the best advices of... More

I will not review the b&b because I was not able to stay there in the end. But I'll review the owner, mr. Martin. Here's what happened: I book my Easter weekend in Antwerp, at Boulevard Leopold, with a flight to Bruxelles. I'm supposed to arrive on March 25th. On March 22nd terrorist attacks happen in Bruxelles. First thing I... More

I have spent many business related day trips to Antwerp, but never truly had a chance to experience the city properly. As part of a Christmas road trip we, ( myself, my wife and 10 year old son) decided to spend a couple of days in Antwerp before travelling on to Vienna via Amsterdam. Martin and his daughter, that run... More

Although I was on a business trip in Antwerp, this hotel made me feel like a was on a romantic getaway. The rooms are mind-blowing, very romantic, authentic and warm, I couldn't believe my eyes. The host is the most heartwarming man, who was very kind and helpful. Especially regarding breakfast, I had to leave for work at 9 and... More

In the center of the jewish quarter you will find this amazingly decorated 19th century Mansion with just a handful rooms and apartments. Martin , the owner is a warmhearted host with endless recommendations as to what to see and where to eat in Antwerp. The breakfast is prepared with passion and the house itself immaculately clean. All in all... More

Martin plays a great host at boulevard Leopold. Beautiful, relaxing rooms a quick tram ride from Antwerp's vibrant centre. Martin has a great deal of knowledge on where to go and what to do. Breakfasts are wonderful too.

We booked this based on recommendations on design websites and somewhat corroborated by tripadvisor. We disagreed on most accounts. First, the location is not convenient (or pretty) if you want to be in the middle of any sights/shopping/culture in Antwerp. Second, I would describe the "design" as shabby chic, emphasis on shabby. The paint was peeling in my tub, the... More
