    Residenz is located right in the heart of the lively Duinoord neighbourhood of the Hague, on the almond-shaped Sweelinckplein square. The house was built in 1895 in preparation for the arrival of former emigrants returning from the Indias. More than 110 years after it was built Residenz opens its doors as a Guest House. We are a boutique hotel with the charm of a homely bed and breakfast and are ready to welcome you as our guests and offer a memorable stay.

    Very well located and quiet place to stay in De Haag. Not far away from the beach and the city center, a tram stop just around the corner, huge family suite with perfectly decorated, excellent breakfast, perfect stay, would recomend.

    Wonderfull place, great hosts
    We stayed 3 nights in November 2018, the place was fantastic, well taken care of, spotless clean. We stayed in the big suite with the fireplace. After a full day of visiting the city, its museums and doing some great shopping it was very relaxing to sit just with a glass of wine…

    Great place, close to beach and city.
    We loved our stay at the Residenz. Friendly hosts, lovely breakfasts and spacious rooms. While we were in the middle of a process of emigration, this place was our secret, lovely, relaxed safe heaven, just down the road. I wish everybody to have such friendly neighbors and hosts.

    Is there parking for my car?
    Yes there is. Right in front of the hotel. From 6 pm till midnight one has to pay. But the owners can activate Yellowbrick for you. So no coins needed ;-)

    Hi Past Guest and Hotel Staff, Do the windows/doors open. It doesn't matter what type of weather I am in - rain, wind or snow, I like fresh air and feel slightly claustrophobic if I cannot open up a window or door to the outside.
    Our room (nr.1) had two large doors to acces a balcony. The hotel is located in a classic building. I think all rooms have windows and or doors that can be opened for fresh air. You can ask for it or just book room number 1 like we did. :-)
