Detailed Reviews
Very comfortable room with a double bed, kettle, tea & coffee supplies, so important for a tea drinker like me. A good choice of hot & cold from the reasonably priced breakfast buffet. Staff on reception were friendly & helpful, allowing me safe storage for my luggage when I arrived in the morning, & providing me with milk & tea bags. That is my only gripe, actually, that the tea & milk weren't replenished on my 2nd day, apart from several sachets of Earl Grey, (which I can't stand) so I had to ask downstairs. The breakfast waitress & the cleaner deserve a mention, especially as the guest in the room next to mine was so obnoxious, yet they stayed polite & calm!

The bed was comfortable. The room was quiet; there was no street noise. There wasn't a lot of extra space in the room. The sink faucets were difficult to turn on and off. The receptionists were pleasant and helpful. The cleaning people were pleasant and did a good job cleaning. The location was good. It was close to the bus stop and to the tram.

Friendly and helpful reception staff that made you feel welcome.
Room was spacious and the bath ,an added bonus.
Disregarded the age and damage to the carpet....it was clean and did not lessen my overall experience.

A good hotel in a nice neighborhood. Short walk away from center and easily accessible to public transport. Hotel service was nice and friendly. Rooms were clean and well kept. Many great restaurants were near and a neighborhood festival was at the neighborhood square the weekend we stayed.

The location of the facility is fantastic. Tranquility of the neighbourhood (Zeeheldenkwartier), proximity to public transportation, and being in walking distance to touristic and cultural places are noteworthy. I really liked the informative booklets on The Hague and The Netherlands. I admired the comfort and scenery of our room. I also liked the cleanliness thereof. I will always appreciate the attitude, helpfulness and professionalism of the personnel.

Great price and good location to get to the World Forum.
Other than that? Nothing unfortunately, average rooms and poor breakfast (I don’t suggest to eat the hot dishes). 20 mins by walk to get to the city center and 5 min away from the tram stop.

I have stayed in this Hotel for 4 nights.
The Hotel is located on a busy street. The Hotel needs urgent redecorating because it is old and stuffy. The carpets are not clean and worn-out.
It is sad that this has a rating of 4 stars. The employees of the hotel cannot help this.
My advise is to redo the interieur and earn the 4 stars rating.
Hampshire Babylon the big brother is a great 4 stars hotel.

Given the rarity of service excellence in commerce, I wish to recognize the Hamphire Greenpark hotel for exceptional service during both of our stays (we got the great rate via [----]).
When our housing arrangement fell though from our overseas move for a position at the UN OPCW, the hotel staff made the transition a haven for us.
Linda, the day hotel manager, was accommodating and very gracious to us. I was extremely impressed by the kindness and attentiveness of the restaurant and bar staff. The night manager is a cheerful, uplifting fellow (has been there 18+ years and is not grumpy working the overnight shift).
The breakfast is lavish. Even the stripped carpet is appealing, the cleaning staff won’t skimp on replacing your toiletries if you are almost-but-not-quite done with your shampoo, and the toilet roll is super soft instead of rough, thin paper (like at another 4 star hotel
we stayed at in The Hague). The Internet is extra but you can get a whole week for 40 euros since it is a T-Mobile hot spot.
Ample parking is free and the hotel sits beside a large lake with two
fountains and a park.
But what really made our stay memorable, was the above and beyond gestures of service *at every level* - from the doorman helping with baggage, very pleasant receptionists, attractive décor, attentive bar
and restaurant staff, and friendly housekeeping service.
I expect to see Hampshire Hospitality and Leisure company in the next
best seller book as an example of how to run a great business.
Appreciatively,
Bryan and Veronica Cannady

I stayed at this hotel on business for 3 nights. When i arrived i was sent to the wrong room, and then the sliding mirror wardrobe doors fell off their sliders. The safe door was open, with batteries scattered on the floor, and not working. When i asked to use an ironing board and iron, i was given an iron which i can only assume (and hope !) had been used to press something brown and toffee like. After cleaning the iron, it then leaked water everywhere (very safe !) and proceeded to stick two holes in my shirt - because the iron had a sharp dent in the side. There is no restaurant to speak of for an evening meal, and the breakfast is...well, average. I'm still waiting for the manager to respond to my complaint. Try somewhere else !

Not the friendliest welcome on arrival.
Room smelled like smoke (my own fault I guess - should have requested non-smoking room).
VERY stained/ dirty carpets, mouldy shower/ bath, pretty poo caked up at the bottom of the toilet!!!
No airconditioning.
Large room with large bed - but desperately needs replacing!!! sides are caving in - struggled to sleep, trying not to roll off!
Breakfast was nice, but only one baby feeding chair in the breakfast room - no good when you need it and another child is in it - for ages.

idgordon asked a question Jan 2018
Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom20 contributions5 helpful votesHi, how much is car parking per night ?
Dear IDgordon,
We offer car park for € 18,00 per night.
There was a hair dryer in our room. I don't remeber seeing an iron. There was an electric kettle, cups, and a renewable stock of instant coffee, tea and sugar.
Hi there, you can check into your room from 15.00 hours and check out is 12.00 hours. You can always come in earlier and leave your luggage or when the room is already available, we can check you in earlier but I can not make any promises.
Hope to see you soon as our guests.
Kind regards,
Rob.
