I stayed in this property for two nights and must say the location was good. The rooms were comfortable and clean

If you expect something fancy this isn’t the place but for basic stay and great location I would give it a 5 star!

All in all a comfortable 2N stay

We were a group of 13 cyclists en route to Amsterdam and we stayed here on Tuesday 22 August. The hotel is in a great location and they were very accommodating with various hours of check in and storage of our bikes. It was a bit disappointing that I was told I couldn’t charge my sandwich and drink to my room, especially as the next drink I had I was told I could. That being said AJ was great. He helped me move my bike to my room (when I had been told my the same member of the hotel team that wouldn’t let me charge anything to my room that I couldn’t store my bike there). He was also very helpful when my safe was beeping involuntarily and nothing was too much trouble for him when answering questions. The team at breakfast were great and the buffet was just what we needed for our long day ahead. Thank you very much.

The staff were really nice and helpful, food at the bar was acceptable. The room was small, hot, stuffy and basic, and overlooked quite a noisy road. We had to ask for a fan (no aircon) ask for a kettle (no tea/coffee making facility) and although we were given mugs with the kettle, we were not given any tea or coffee! Thank goodness I travel with supplies. Nowhere to put anything, they obviously assume people only stay one or two nights, we had 9 nights (for a sports tournament) and found the lack of space challenging, we were provided with about a dozen coat hangers, at least there was hanging space! A double room with only one chair is an interesting concept. Room servicing was minimal, bed thrown together, clean towels provided, dirty cups not dealt with except by us. And for a Accor to claim they are trying to be planet friendly, the plastic bathroom was something to behold. Along with plastic tables and chairs I did not see much that was environmentally friendly. Breakfast had a good variety and the staff were able to provide me with gluten free rolls every morning for which I was very grateful, shame there were no other specific GF foods so thank goodness for the cheeses, ham and eggs. Overall disappointing, on the plus side, easy to access places of interest, trams and restaurants.

Dear Patricia, Thank you for your review. We are pleased that our team's friendliness and helpfulness stood out to you during your stay. It's rewarding to know that our efforts to provide a welcoming atmosphere are appreciated. However, we regret that some aspects of your experience did not meet the standards you expected. Our rooms are designed to be compact and efficient, we regret if this felt limiting during your longer stay and have noted your feedback. Additionally, our central air system is meant to ensure a comfortable climate and we regret if your room was warmer than you would have liked. Concerning the room amenities, we provide coffee and tea-making facilities in our Premium rooms and always encourage our guests to reach out to our 24-hour reception for any additional requirements they might have. Furthermore, we are continuously working on our sustainability practices to minimize our environmental impact. Your remarks are taken to heart as we strive to enhance our guest experience. Nevertheless, we are delighted that you enjoyed the variety of the breakfast and found our location convenient for accessing local attractions and public transport. The Hague has a rich array of cultural and historical sites to offer, and we are glad you could take advantage of this during your stay. We hope to welcome you back in the future. Best wishes, Team ibis Den Haag City Centre

The location is great but I am very sad about our stay...
I am not a person who pays attention to every little thing or complains straight away because we are all human. But... the basics like cleanliness and friendliness should be right and I think it is really not arrogant to place value on them.
The rooms are really very dirty, which according to the review shouldn't be the case.
My husband wanted to stay in another hotel and I insisted on Ibis, but I didn't think that the plastic showers were stained with mold and that the room was ice cold even though we had turned the heating up to 30°C :(
When we complained at reception, we only got an annoyed "the cleaning lady will be sent over"... but unfortunately nothing was done, not even a "we are sorry"
& unfortunately there is no restaurant as described on the homepage.... We will never stay at the Ibis again and I am very sad that they don't act in the best interests of the guest. Friendliness alone can sometimes really make a big difference!

Big mistake selecting this place for our 4 night stay, BIG!!!
I thought this was a decent hotel judging from photos and reviews, but never been more wrong!!! Our stay felt like we were at a run down hostel, not even a decent hostel looks like this.
Beware! They charged my card extra $20 after checkout for unknown reasons, only found out after landing in US. Sent Anchor a message but I have a feeling that I’ll never see that money again. We have not used anything in the room as there was nothing to use:
no kettle, no tea or coffee, no water, no nothing, not even a garbage 🗑️ bin in the room, front desk said there is a garbage in the bathroom LOL!!
Suffocatingly small room, with tiny cheap beds cramped together, two people can’t walk side by side, beds have funny smelling sheets and cover, good luck sleeping in them without being disgusted, small plastic bathroom with glass shower doors making loud cracking noise if you try to close them, safe locker didn’t work, window doesn’t open enough to let in fresh air, extremely long corridor to walk to get to the room, stained carpet in hallways etc.
And it is not cheap at all.
Needless to say, never coming back nor will I ever consider any of Anchor hotels in future. Disgusting place, literally not worthy of our stay.

Ibis always offers neat, clean and simple rooms on a reliable level. This Den Haag branch is at a central location with restaurants and shopping malls within walking distance. Check-in is fast and smooth. The room is on the small side but quiet enough for a pleasant sleep. Amenities are limited. Overall, a quality option in the Dutch city.

I cancelled my stay because kindly be aware that there isn’t air conditioning or heating in rooms. This is mostly Booking.com’s problem which does not Highlight missing amenities. Having suffered in summer in one such place I messaged the property and they confirmed that there was no heating. Can’t stay in the middle of winter without heating unless you are really broke. Kindly check with the hotel before paying.
