Nestled in the heart of The Hague, Hotel Des Indes is celebrated for its traditional elegance and stylish decor, with many guests enamored by the property's charm. Its prime location garners consistent praise, offering easy access to nearby attractions, shops, and historical landmarks. While the rooms earn acclaim for their comfort and space, some guests suggest brighter lighting and larger desks would enhance the experience. The hotel's cleanliness and amenities receive high marks, contributing to its overall appeal. However, while the service is generally regarded as professional and friendly, there have been occasional breakfast service hiccups.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the historic Hotel des Indes. It is in a great location within walking distance to the Mauritshuis and Parliament. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spotless with a lovely view over the park. The pool and sauna were peaceful. I can thoroughly recommend the Hotel des Indes and hope to return soon.

Old world charm in an Old World setting, with the Escher and Maurituis Museums at the doorstep means location. The narrow street from my window was like Harry Potter's Diagon Alley- wonderful. The hotel edges on a vast tree-studded park which is a buffer to Den Haag's delightful shopping area. As my close friends live a 100 meters from Hotel des Indes, I was introduced by denizens- but any seasoned traveller can find delights- and easy tram straight to Delft on top of it.

I stayed in a deluxe room and it was fabulous - a canopy bed, a large bathroom with two sinks, two easy chairs and a great view out of my two very tall windows. I did wish that the TV had offered CNN because SKY News seemed to be on repeat every time I turned it on, which I do when I'm getting dressed or ready for bed. A group of nine of us ate dinner in the restaurant one night and the food was very good, as was the service. The breakfast buffet was average and I was surprised that you couldn't get eggs-to-order in a hotel like this. Maybe you could, but the waitress never told me. In fact, the breakfast staff always seemed to be in a hurry to do something other than take my order. On Saturday morning, there was hardly any staff at all. This is really the reason for taking off one star.

We stayed 6 nights here. The location is perfect for exploring the city, close to restaurants, shops, museums and other sites. The hotel is very traditional in ambiance, service, and decor. The room (juniour suite) was very large with big windows, a comfortable bed and nice linens. The only downside of the room is the lighting is somewhat dim, especially in the bathroom which is painted in dark colors. We had drinks and ate in the bar a couple times. Offerings are limited but good. Service in the bar was terrific. We used the laundry service which was great because laundry is done the same day. Massage by Seiko was excellent. Sevice was exceptional. In particular concieges Mr. Gert and Ms. Stefanie, and Mr. Kennedy at the front door were all so helpful! Can't wait to return. And Mr. Kennedy, we hope your days continue to be EXCELLENT!!!

We did a quick overnighter at the Hotel Des Indes. Exceptional hotel, great location for seeing Den Haag. Easy parking in hotel lot. Hotel food was very tasty, nice wine selection. The staff was very detailed and extremely friendly. The interior of the hotel is exquisite, truly a step back to an amazing "titanic-esque" period. Spa is an asset, great massages.
