My wife and I recently visited the Netherlands and our final city, The Hague, where we stayed three nights at the Paleis Hotel. Everything about the hotel is perfect: central location to see all sights within reasonable walking distance, friendly staff, large up-to-date rooms, and excellent breakfasts. Marja, one of the owners, spent time visiting with us and explained how... More

The Paleis is my new favorite hotel in Den Hague. The staff are all friendly and helpful; the rooms are pretty, decorated with a vintage nod to the age of the building; and the location couldn't be better: a block from Noordeinde Street and two blocks from the palace. If you don't like activity around your hotel in the evening,... More

This small, intimate hotel is located on a pedestrianised street in the heart of the old town. We enjoyed a room on the top floor with views over the palace gardens. It was traditionally decorated and comfortable. The breakfast buffet isn't particularly outstanding although nicely cooked food is available on request. Perhaps the hotel's greatest asset is its staff who... More

The staff were excellent and very accommodating when I raised some initial concerns about our booking we were moved into a more spacious and comfortable room. I get frustrated when no allowance is made for guests suitcases. It is easy to provide a small folding suitcase valet in every room to accommodate a suitcase, after all every visitor has one,... you know I don't think I want to tell you, I'm keeping this one for me:-). This stay felt like we'd been invited into someone's home. Beautifully kept, beautifully appointed and very attentive staff. Very central. Our room was small but it did not matter we were there to sleep not dance. Our needs were simple on our 2 day... More

It is one of the best staff & location, its located right in the center. Room is big enough , the atmosphere is romantic. The furnisher is amazing & attractive, the bathroom is very big. The lift is small as it for 2 people only. Recommended to all visitors,

The staff was always endeavored to make us feel comfortable. Our room was large (superior), very clean and had a large bathroom. The breakfast was good. The hotel is located in the centre of Den Haag. Most of the highlights of Den Haag as well as beautiful cafes, bars, restaurants and shops are within easy reach. The receptionist would be glad... More

We were searching for a central hotel and we're pleased with the Paleis. Super nice staff and good location. Breakfast was basic with a limited mebu so we ate out instead. There is no parking but good wifi.

I stayed just one night at the Paleis Hotel on July 27th, 2016. I wanted to have one afternoon and a whole day in The Haag, just to say I had been there whilst travelling from Utrecht to Amsterdam. I booked and paid online for my double room (with airconditioning!) before I arrived, as it was showing available. Upon arrival... More

Dear Mr. Sheedy, Thank you for your response. However, the story as you have portrayed it, is not actually correct. We have contacted you several times by telephone to discuss this matter and clarify some things, but you have repeatedly hung up on us. This itself tells me that perhaps you haven't been upfront about what actually happened. We find... More

Sure..in the very heart of Den Haag, with both the Parkiament buildings, all sorts of museums and lots of specialty shops just around the corner location gets a 10/10. Dont really try to come by car all the way cause its a bit narrow and there is no parking. The hotel has a bit of a palace feel and staff... More
