We choose one of your Circus caravans this time, the "Mama Loe". It turned out to be as romantic and cozy as we had expected. Your breakfast service was generous as always. We once again had a wonderful time in your hotel - nothing left to be desired!

My husband and I recently stayed in Hotel de Emauspoort for a weekend away. We stayed in the Vermeer room, which overlooks the canal and the back of the Nieuwe Kerk. It was one of the most cute/gesellig rooms I’ve ever stayed in. We loved the antique furniture, wooden beams in the ceiling, old wooden staircase leading to the second floor, and the Vermeer paintings on the walls. We couldn’t have picked a more perfect room in Delft. Breakfast was really good. We placed our order the evening before and it was ready for us the next morning, almost as soon as we sat down. We had the option of having breakfast in our room or in the courtyard, which I recommend if the weather is nice. The hotel used to be a bakery and they still bake some special breads which are served at breakfast. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and made us feel at home. It’s family run and that definitely makes a difference. If you drive, there’s paid parking a 5 minute walk away in the Marktgarage. We paid €18 per night (not cheap, but it never is when you’re so close to the centre!). Also, because it’s coronavirus times we live in, the hotel took all precautions like hand sanitizer and Perspex glass in reception, plus social distancing at breakfast. We never felt unsafe or uneasy about Covid and we actually managed to still feel like we were on holidays, despite the precautions.
