The WestCord Hotel Delft is lauded for its cozy charm, with stylish IKEA furnishings contributing to its tasteful atmosphere. Guests consistently remark on the hotel's cleanliness and commend the attentive, welcoming service. While the proximity to the highway raises concerns, the noise is generally not a disturbance.
The hotel's location offers convenient access to nearby cities and complimentary parking. Although the rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, some guests have noted areas in need of updating. The hotel is also appreciated for its value and amenities, despite suggestions for more breakfast variety.

Lovely quiet in the room, (studio) nice bath. Nespresso machine and kettle plus microwave and spotless fridge make the stay pleasant. The bed is good, duvet could be a little thicker. Breakfast is very expensive but given proximity to ikea and amenities in the studio you can find a solution for that. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Don't worry about the location even if the hotel is right next to the highway (you can only hear it when festers are open) - is right next to IKEA in the countryside and is also furnished with Ikea to almost 100% which has its charm. Room view either with Delft church spires & Ikea and motorway or to the city silhouette of Rotterdam and motorway but you don't want to stay in the room -Witty: Every floor has a different color scheme....Free parking in front of the hotel and best to rent bikes (also half-day possible ) and so you are in really a few minutes on the other side in Delft and can easily get anywhere. We have been there several times for 1-2 nights. Of particular note is the breakfast in summer outside on the terrace - gets four stars. The team of the open kitchen makes a fresh fried eggs and you can squeeze your own fresh O-juice for lukewarm. Staff TOP.

The room was nice and clean, well equipped with TV, refrigerator, etc. and a great bed. Renting a bicycle is very quick and the bicycle itself is in excellent condition. The rest of the hotel also looks great. I will definitely come back again.

Very good location, close to Delft center, Hague and Rotterdam while not in the city center, which makes things much simpler, particularly when traveling by car (easy parking included). Simple and functional design by IKEA, comfortable rooms and beds. Restaurant on premises is a little bit hit and miss - guess matter of personal taste and maybe some luck. Food was done well but I was not so sure my pallette entirely agreed. Couple of minor problems encountered - had to move to different from assigned room due to clogged shower sink, causing water overflowing, some light bulb did not work but overall comfortable stay thanks in part to pleasant and helpful staff, both at reception and in restaurant. Breakfast typical with sufficient variety, all fresh and filling. So overall, while would not call it luxury hotel, it is not trying to be one, providing instead efficient, convenient and comfortable accomodations.

One of the best hotels i stayed at.
And i am a critical according most :)
We rented a studio and it was VERY clean.
Could not hear anything from outside the room and the view was great.
The hotel is perfectly geografical placed, 10 minutes walking to the old city of Delft, 15 minutes drive to Den Haag, 20 minutes to Hoek of Holland and 20 minutes to Rotterdam.
The hotel has a very nice restaurant with good fresh food and the most polite people who work there.
At the reception you are helped with all information you need and they always try to do a step extra to make your stay more pleasant.
The bartender and his crew are nice, polite and funny, always in the mood for a chat.
I will certainly come back there when i visit my home country.

Nice hotel very close to Delft, its university, and The Hague.
Decoration is done by the neighbouring IKEA, which is a nice touch.
Beds are good, but the large amount of pillows (3 per side) were all huge and square which made them quite difficult to use. you'd either have to fold them in half (which made them way too thick) or put your head half a meter below the top and have your feet dangling from the bottom haha. Please tell me how this is intended because I don't understand it.
Breakfast is very good with a wide selection of healthy options as well as the English classics. Staff is the kindest! Restaurant for dining was a bit chaotic, long waiting times even though they weren't busy at all, and I did not receive my side dish for which I think i did pay in the end. I only noticed this when I was back in my room so I let that one slide. The gorgeous young waitress was so kind that I wouldn't want her to get in trouble for it.
Oh and about that warning: the majority of the rooms is only reachable via a very high balcony around an atrium which has a GLASS railing. This is an enormous trigger for people with a fear of heights. Not nice, especially since my room was on the 5th floor.

Dear Ron G, Such a pleasure to read your review and the kind alert! Very much appreciated. Of course we offer a room at different levels and locations in our building for all our guest, but your advise is very welcome. Our pillows are abundantly stuffed to provide our guest with the ultimate support for neck and shoulders. Of course it remains a personal experience. I hope you have had a good night rest nevertheless. We are looking forward to welcoming you back and provide you with a room at a lower level. Kindest regards, on behalf of the team, John Patrick

A warm welcome is that you can have a cup of tea or coffee anywhere in the hotel! Please do not put the kettle in the hotel room in the wardrobe because of the dust. Better to put the kettle on a table outside the wardrobe!
It is very good that the hotel owner has many young people as staff!
Pim and Marijne helped us at the counter, very friendly and attentive!
Laura also very kindly served us at the restaurant!
God's Word says about young people and the elderly:
“The splendor of young people is their strength, and the ornament of old people is their gray hair.” (Proverbs 20:29)
Young people have great strength and old people have wisdom.
Combined they can accomplish a lot of good!
How we viewed our stay at the WestCord;
It is the Blessing of Jehovah God!
Thank you to all the staff and Director of WestCord for your great help!

The 2 person topper for which we paid extra was not comfortable at all. The pillows are also not that comfortable.
We checked in on a Saturday for a 2 night stay and were informed that breakfast was served from 8 am to 11 am. This resulted in us going for breakfast on Monday at 10:30 am, to find out breakfast is only served until 10 am on week days. We lost the breakfast that day and had to go somewhere else.
If you're given the option to upgrade your room (2 person topper and extra bath products) for a fee, think twice before you do it. In my opinion it is not worth it.

Hi, of course there is a train station and the train brings you to direction of Rotterdam or The Hague within approx 15 minutes.
The best choice would be to take the bus near the hotel to the city centre.
For more details you should ask at the reception.
Hope this will help you.
Best regards, Joerg
Hi, thanks for sending the question. We do supply a hair dryer in every room. Thanks, please let us know in case you have other questions. Kind regards, Edo Garretsen - General Manager WestCord Hotel Delft
