Nice hotel. It is pretty close to the central market, about 10 minutes walk. Plenty of places to eat nearby as well. The staff were quite friendly. The room, which had a private toilet, was clean and well-kept. All of the additional items, i.e. TV/coffee maker/stereo, were thoroughly covered. A note about the stereo: There was quite a varied selection...

Aan de Dam increased our warm feelings towards the Dutch. They are simple, honest, hardworking and warm. From Goeffrey, the man who dealt with us, to the young people who gave us nice breakfasts, everyone is polite, warm and ready to please. We asked for an extra bed as our son wanted to rest with us from time to time...

Before arriving in the hotel, we were called about the special procedure by a late arrival. we decided to check in before we went to an appointment. We were welcomed by a very friendly member of the staff of the hotel. He went with us to the room and explained everything from the TV to the bathroom. Coffee and drinks...

We were greeted by several staff when we arrived who were very helpful and we were given the Zee Kamer room, which is on the ground floor at the front of the hotel. A classically decorated large spacious room, with a very large comfy bed and beautiful large windows overlooking the small park opposite. The record player and choice of...

We loved our ground floor suite (and were not disturbed at all by noise) and the warm welcome from all the staff. The record player was wonderful and we enjoyed playing a selection. Breakfast which we took in the garden was lovely. A great last minute booking thro booking.com and just what we wanted and expected. Thanks to all.

I cannot review the room, breakfast or other services for the reason that we were not able to use our reservation for two rooms. At arrival we got the message that they made a mistake and were now overbooked. They tried to ‘solve’ it by putting 4 beds into one room. Obviously we refused. Referring to earlier reviews made on...

We spent two nights in this lovely, quirky hotel. Our room on the ground floor at the front was a huge period room with a wonderful modern ensuite. Breakfast was a high quality continental one with a great selection of cheese and cold cuts presented at your table. This is a very individual hotel in a lovely old building right...

I booked accommodation in this hotel through Booking.com and "guaranteed" my booking with my credit card. I received a confirmation email the same day. A week later and a few days before my booked date I received a phone call telling me that they had no availability. There was no explanation or apology for the inconvenience caused. What part of...

Small hotel with a nice family like atmosphere. Very good breakfast and eating it outside in the sunshine was wonderful. We had the smallest room (Van der Linden) which was just fine for one night. Parking very close to the hotel is perfect and discount on parking fees by hotel is very hospitable.
