I spent 5 nights here to attend a few concerts in the Tivoli. Whilst it is not in the centre there are regular buses which stop outside the hotel and it is only 10 minutes by bus into the centre. There are also trams although it’s slightly further to walk. The bedroom was

It had been a very very long day and by the time I arrived at the hotel I was longing for a cool beer and something to eat. I had noticed that the hotel advertised a menu which even listed steak. That would have been perfect. But in the end the menu was very very limited and I

Dear benbboris, Thank you so much for the extensive and complete review after your visit! Overall, I am very happy to see we were able to provide you with the essentials like food, beer and a charge for your phone, though I will be sure to talk to my colleagues about the cool manner in which they did it. A small part might be a language barrier, but that surely does not account for the whole experience. For a future visit to our hotel or any other Ibis, give us a shout regarding the kettle. We have them available free of charge at reception, they are just not standard in all rooms. From your comments on the menu I have to conclude that you were here on a weekend. We offer a full menu on weekdays and a limited menu on weekends as the city is so close and attractive to a lot of our guests. We make an effort to communicate this as clear as possible, but you are proof that we are not doing a perfect job yet. I do hope we will see you again in the future, of only to show you that we did take the comments from your visit to the team in an effort to change that! Kind regards, Reint, General Manager

The staff is friendly and attentive. Very nice convivial room and bar, like all the hotel space. The breakfast served was excellent, very full and diverse. The room was nice, no noise, just a lit hot.

Hi, Is there a gym nearby?
No gym in the area.. Only few kilometers away and it's a gym called ' fit for free ' and you must also be a member. Nevertheless if you have running shoes then you can run easily on a quiet road next to the houseboats. Cheers

The Roosevelt University is not in Utrecht. It is in Middelburg. From Utrecht to Middelburg by car it takes about 2 hours. By train and bus you will need to go via Amsterdam and it can take between 4 and 5 hours.
