Parking is right next to the hotel, the reception is friendly and very supportive. The queen room has modern furnishings. The small round table is not really suitable for working. Since the house is fully booked, unfortunately they cannot provide me with a second table, there is no room to work. The Smart TV has a good channel selection, a Tivoli radio provides music. The Wi-Fi is stable and allows streaming. The closet with safe, minibar and Nespresso machine offers storage space for short stays.
The stylish bathroom with WalkIn shower is actively ventilated. There is enough storage space, and a professional hair dryer is available in the cabinet already mentioned. The excellent breakfast is Ă la carte, it is worth planning accordingly. The IIjsself ferry to the centre of Deventer runs right next door, tickets are available at reception.

I stayed here for two nights in April 2024, for work.
The hotel is beautifully located right next to the river, with wonderful views across to the town.
The bedroom was spacious, the bathroom was simple and perfectly clean. The underfloor heating was a nice touch. A very good quality mattress and really great pillows made it a comfortable stay.
The staff in the hotel helped to make this one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had (and I’ve stayed in hundreds over the years). The first night we didn’t arrive until after midnight but the welcome was still warm and helpful. Breakfast was served in a different place from usual while their restaurant is being refurbished but it was all faultless.
The next day we were unexpectedly back in the area so chose to stay again. There was a handwritten “welcome back” message in the room alongside the complimentary chocolates. On arrival they gave us a list of recommended local restaurants, checked to see if we could make a reservation at the time we needed, and booked the table for us.
All in all, this place is a gem and a wonderful find. The team create a welcoming atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble. I’ll definitely be back, this time with my wife, for some rest and relaxation. I’m looking forward to it already!

The hotel is located on the IJssel and with a ferry in front of your door you can reach the center of Deventer in no time. Be sure to book a room with a view of the IJssel. The rooms are large enough and clean and almost fully equipped. Fine beds and a nice bathroom. Breakfast is a la carte. You can order as much as you want, but if you are not a big eater it is quite pricey (standard amount per person per day). Friendly and helpful staff.

The reception at the hotel was excellent, suitcases were brought to the room and we were offered a drink. The room looked neat. The bed was good. Unfortunately, the view was not of the IJssel, but of the park at the back of the hotel. The hotel does not have a breakfast buffet but an a la carte breakfast. That turned out to be very poor. We sleep in hotels all over the world for work and are used to an extensive buffet where we can choose what we eat. This was the opposite. We were allowed to choose two things and that was it. A croissant with three tubs of jam and a slice of brown bread with scrambled eggs. Very minimal. Not even a second cup of coffee was possible. The waiter didn't even look at our table to ask if everything was okay. Really not recommended in our opinion and that's a shame because it could easily be much better. To top it all off, after checking out, a parking ticket for €77.00 was behind the windshield wipers. Upon arrival, it would have been polite of the lady at reception to report this and at least ask whether we came by car and where we parked. After all, free parking is also stated in the booking. This was really a big downer!

Apart from some ants in the bathroom and on my nightstand we had a wonderfull stay at this hotel. From this hotel you have a great view of Deventer at night. Wooow! Welcoming us was also very warm and they took the time to explain everything, not at the desk but in.a quiet place in the restaurant. The rooms and bathroom are very modern. Breakfast is not a buffet but a la carte and you can choose from a selection of items as many as you like including drinks. The ferry to bring you across the Ijssel is just around the corner and no waiting time. It's a nice way to enter the center of Deventer.
Just 2 things I would like to mention in this review: * When booking the website mentions that you can have a room with ijssel view. So when booking we mentioned that in the comment section. Day later we received the actual bill for the ijssel view room (€35 extra per room per night). * You receive a few ferry tickets, we thought they were free, but when checking out they were added to the bill. It's not a lot of money, but you have to be clear about that upfront.

Got AC and is the perfect location on the river where the ferry to Deventer continuously travels the 2 minute journey back and forth. Dinner is very reasonably priced and the food was fantastic- try the restaurant the first night and you may give the city a miss on the 2nd night. Breakfast outdoors on the river is not to be missed. Service was exceptional and everyone was friendly and supportive

Stayed at this beautiful hotel from June 29 to July 3. On the other side of the ice cream than the center is located but with the bike / foot spring for 1.80 euros back and forth within minutes. Breakfast is very relaxed and the service at the table we experienced as very pleasant. Plenty to choose from and unlimited additional questions. The booster at the start of the day in the form of a healthy juice mix served at breakfast is a nice extra. The room is cleaned daily and we mean really well cleaned. Half of the wardrobe was stocked with various drinks and eateries (for a fee) and a refrigerator. The beds were fine and with the noise it was not so bad. Certainly worth repeating for us highly recommended for those who are still in doubt.

My friend and I were really looking forward to a special weekend at this hotel. However, our reservation was canceled a week and a half before the start because the renovation was not on time (where it was not stated in advance that there could be any uncertainty as a result of a renovation). Apart from moving to the sister hotel in Zwolle or 'thinking along' about booking other nearby hotels, I could not expect anything from the employees. To resolve this, my friend and I are being charged additional costs and cannot expect any compensation from the hotel. Especially for a hotel like this, I find it extremely unprofessional that, first of all, you treat your customers this way and secondly, you plan so poorly that you have to cancel rooms a week and a half in advance and charge people with extra costs.

Nice little hotel situated on the Ijssel. The view from our room was over the Ijssel and Deventer. The location makes it a very peaceful hotel, as there is no road near, so no traffic noise. Parking is not a problem, large parking lot which is very cheap, and there is an adjoining field where you can park for free.
Room quite spacious. Had a lovely sleep in a comfortable bed. Coffee and tea making facilities available. Bathroom is very modern, with shower, toilet and wash basin, which is a very modern design, not the most practical though.
Breakfast was served at the table with rolls, croissants, cheese, meat, jam, fruit, yoghurt and eggs to order, coffee and tea. We did find the price (€25,-) very high.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. We rented bikes from reception and when we checked out we got a little bag with some bottled water and sweets and a lovely card thanking us for our stay.
Getting to the city centre is very easy, even though the hotel is on the other side of the Ijssel. There is a little ferry right next to the hotel which takes you to the other side in just a couple of minutes and which runs from 8am till 11pm.

Breakfast was good. Small room and tiny bathroom for the price! The bathroom has a big design flaw: you cannot put your head over the sink because there is a shelf above the sink which makes it rather difficult to use; blocking access. The fridge has been put into the closet which has the result that the door does not close properly and the closet light is on all night apart from being annoying it is not very energy efficient. No private parking...the public parking lot needs to be shared with the adjacent camping ground! No free water in the room. The wifi was diabolical something I have not seen for 15 or 20 years or so when hotels first started to offer wifi which was extremely slow.
