Hotelrooms not far from the beaches of the Northsee. The hotel lays along the bussy N208. The rooms at the frontside are noisy and have no good ventilation possibilities. You can only reach the rooms by a step metal staircase.

Rooms are clean and freshly renovated, breakfast is good and European type. My main issue is the insulation of windows as rooms are really closed to the road.... Then you can rapidly know that lot of trucks car and motorcycle use this road evening and morning. I won't got again just for this reason otherwise everything is pleasant.

We found this hotel to be a very good location for our purposes - mainly visiting the Keukenhof gardens. We also travelled to Amsterdam by train from Sassenheim station (the bus to the station runs right past the hotel and only costs €2) and you get to Amsterdam in about 35 minutes. The hotel is quite good having a restaurant...

My wife and I decided to do a long distance bicycle trip along the coast starting from South Holland with a stop at Keukenhof to see the tulips. We checked in after a very beautiful day at Keukenhof. Check in was in the restaurant, where we first met Rob. We were given the key to the room then dropped off...

What a great surprise to find that this delightful hotel has had a completely new addition and 6 brand spanking new rooms have been added. The room (number 5) was well appointed, very spacious and spotlessly clean. The location to Keukenhof is excellent. Breakfast was typical of a continental breakfast - if you want an English or other breakfast, then...

Used this hotel as it is very close to Keukenhof, our destination. However, it is not really a hotel, more a series of rooms over a restaurant/bar. Check in is unusual, in that you have to stand in the street and ring a bell to get someone to let you in. Access to the rooms is difficult, up an outside...

We stayed here to visit Kuekenhof Gardens which are very close. There are acres of flowers in the nearby fields! A newly built, modern room was outstanding. The staff have good English and are most helpful. We enjoyed the meals in their dining room which is a very popular venue for locals.

As soon we set our foot and felt that it was a perfect place to stay overnight and wished to have stayed longer! The room, bathroom and the bed were great and very clean. We loved every minute there. The price is very good and reasonable. The staff were very friendly but they tend you pay as soon you arrive....

Hotel Restaurant de Engel is a family run place with great, friendly and helpful staff so we felt welcome and at home. Breakfast is tasty and abundant, and you may have equally yummy dinners in a relaxed, homey atmosphere. An overall commendable place.

good things: Nice room, clean, confortable, coffee and tea in the room, good wi-fi bad things: A little noisy as the hotel is placed on the main road and the parking is far from the room and the access is inconvenient by climbing narrow staircase
